A neighborhood lunch place in Isabella. The food was simple and delicious. They do not serve alcohol.

This is a lunch place with limited hours (Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm), but definitely worth it for flavor and budget. They have a set menu of rotating daily dishes. We found that the portions were generous enough that two of us shared the special - which includes arroz, beans (habichuelas), and a salad or platanos maduros (amarillos) along with the meat and... Not many places where you can get this quality of food for $10 per person. The roast chicken was good. The bacalao was the best dish.

Perfect and ready to pickup and go. They deliver the lunch to the hotel. $8 approximate cost for rice, beans, salad and a choice of a meat.

A lovely clean air conditioned cafe however our chicken was dry and rice and beans were cold. Service was excellent and friendly and portions were generous but I have had better local food at other places.

the menu is predictable and always satisfying. Lunch only but I sometimes save it for dinner. excellent home cooking of local cuisine. local working lunch crowd mostly. The people that work there are so friendly. I really like them. They seem so genuine. like going to your aunts home.

Food is ok, prices are kind of high for what it is... Simple Puerto Rican food, not great, not bad.... I would try other places first....

We went to Shawnaa's after having gotten to Vieques and were delighted with the food. The place was filled with locals which is always a good sign! We had chicken and fries and fried plantains which I waited a half hour for but was worth EVERY minute of the wait!
