Had a large group that ordered sandwiches and a myriad of pastries. Nothing was extraordinary but everything was good. It take a long time to get food, but freshly-made sandwiches and PR make for a longer wait.

We discovered La Viequenese about halfway through our trip, and went every morning after that! At many places, breakfast will cost a couple about $60. La Viequenese offers enormous breakfast sandwiches and delicious pastries for cheap, and was within walking distance of Casa de Amistad, the beautiful guest house where we stayed.

When visiting Vieques, we go here almost every day! Great pastries and their bread is #1! We often buy their bread to make great lunch/beach sandwiches. They also offer great sandwiches.

A daily stop, if you like coffee and donuts, (if you don't, something's got to be wrong with you.) My wife especially enjoyed the carrot cake. Fresh bread daily is also available.

Shopping in Isabel Segunda, we had to stop and get some sustenance at this wonderful place, which locals love as well. We also got our food for our picnic lunch when we went sailing! It's also the coolest place in town, with AC blasting, which helps when you visit in the summer. Great, cheap, and good food!

The staff here was very nice. The breakfast options were limited, but the eggs were delicious. The coffee was very good and a great start to the day. The homemade bread was very delicious. My wife and I bought several loaves to take with us during our adventures to the beach. This was one of several locations that did serve... More

The pastries are delicious! Every day is a different bread or pastry so you are not guaranteed to get something you read on here (note: Mallorca bread) - we got the espresso and pastries and the media noche! Cheap and delicious!

We didn't eat here, but we did find a few things that we were not able to find in the grocery stores.

Best coffee I had on the island. Very friendly staff. The omlet and pastery were wonderful. We really enjoy this side of the island.

This place opens early which was ideal for us, troubled by the roosters. Coffee was strong and made properly. The girl at teh counter was always smiley and friendly. Recommended if you are staying in Isabela Segunda.
