This is located in the heart of the town of Isabella. Remember that in Puerto Rico the bakeries also are like restaurants. We stopped in for a sandwich and had a great Cuban and picked up some pastries. All were delicious!

This is a small deli right in Isabel. Cheap good coffee and a great selection of fresh morning donuts. Definite buy a loaf of bread!

We stopped here for breakfast and got sandwiches to go for the beach. Both the pastries and sandwiches were great! We came back for sandwiches 2 other times during our trip. Great buy for the size and quality of the sandwiches. Definitely worth a stop!

They have basicly all the sandwiches you would find on all the bakeries in Puerto Rico. Their bread in particular has a peculiar taste wich i think is pretty good and gets a bit on top of the normal bakeries. The service is friendly but not exactly fast. Treats looks pretty well made. It has enough parking on it own... More

This is one of the few spots to grab a breakfast sandwich on this side of the Island. Come prepared to wait, but it's all worth your while. The coffee is small but really good. You can call your order ahead of time. The Cuban sandwich is the absolute best!!! I also love the baked goods -specially the quesitos. We... More

Read about this on tripadvisor. The pastries were really good! The breakfast sandwiches were good as well. It gets really crowded so don't be in a hurry to get your food. The bread was fabulous! Loved everything about this place. Locals and tourists were here, a good sign.

Had a large group that ordered sandwiches and a myriad of pastries. Nothing was extraordinary but everything was good. It take a long time to get food, but freshly-made sandwiches and PR make for a longer wait.

We discovered La Viequenese about halfway through our trip, and went every morning after that! At many places, breakfast will cost a couple about $60. La Viequenese offers enormous breakfast sandwiches and delicious pastries for cheap, and was within walking distance of Casa de Amistad, the beautiful guest house where we stayed.

When visiting Vieques, we go here almost every day! Great pastries and their bread is #1! We often buy their bread to make great lunch/beach sandwiches. They also offer great sandwiches.

A daily stop, if you like coffee and donuts, (if you don't, something's got to be wrong with you.) My wife especially enjoyed the carrot cake. Fresh bread daily is also available.
