Thank you for your review although incorrect!!! We except Discover, Diners Card, American Express, Visa, Master Card & Debit Cards with a Visa, Master Card logo. We also now have Chip card capability. It does not take a genius to see that we do not have air-conditioning with the whole restaurant open air facing the beach. In fact every restaurant... More

Really a great place to eat in Vieques! Moderately priced food and drinks, outside tables along the Malecon, and good, fast service! They haves standard food for picky eaters, but you must try their fish tacos, and fish sandwiches! And their dirty banana drink was delicious! We went here twice! (which we rarely do on trips!)

This restaurant is family friendly. My family is from the states so mac and cheese and french fries are a must for the little ones. Not only did we eat here once and like it, we liked it so much we decided to go back a second time! They accommodated our group of 15 in a timely fashion. They have... More

I've been here three times, it's def one of the bestest place to eat in Vieques. It's affordable and super tasty. My favorite dish is their ahi tuna served with seaweed, it's super juicy and delicious. It's def worth the visit!!!

This place was nice...all open with chickens and dogs wandering in and out. The people who worked there were nice and accommodating of our large group. The food was fine. The lobster croquette special didn't seem to have any lobster; they tasted more like hush-puppies, but they were good as that. I got the mofongo, and it was tasty. HOWEVER,... More

Breeze blowing in off the beach made a good meal even better! Me and my 3 teenagers ate here twice. The staff was friendly. I would definitely go back!

On an island where mediocre service, fair to poor food quality and inflated prices can drive you mad I found Bananas to be a refreshing place to take the family for a meal. The options are varied, food is tasty and the service was actually better than any place I encountered on the island-and competitively comparable to dining experiences on... More

Everybody had a fantastic meal here. There wasn't anybody that wanted something about their meal changed. We ordered 3 meals and an appetizer (and dessert, of course) for our family of 4 and ended up taking home leftovers. We had single items that were better in other restaurants but this was the best overall meal.

We had our wedding in April 2016 in Vieques, PR and set up a lunch at Bananas after a day at the beach for all of our wedding guests (about 35). Bananas staff was absolutely great from the moment we contacted them about reserving space for a lunch crowd that big. They even allowed us to pick a specific menu... More
