The seafood was great (best Calamari and mussels ever!) and we thought it was the most food for your money.

We stayed at the Bananas Guesthouse, and ate many of our lunches & dinners here. Everything is great! The Sangrias are fantastic & I drank at least one every day. They are perfect after spending time in the sun.

Just in front of the beach, we went two days in a row at Bananas, the staff is nice, the food is good and simple, a nice mixt between local dish and american food. the cocktails are good as well. Its is cozy and cute Inside.

Was quite happy with the food and the price paid overall. The seafood trio is quite good and the fish seemed quite fresh. Lobster fritters were also quite tasty. The plantain Fosters was a great way to end the meal. Compared with prices we've paid elsewhere on the island, this was the best value for the money.

Great bar, good food, fun atmosphere. They often have happy hour specials ($4 tacos, for example), $5 drinks. etc.

Who would have expected to eat an outstanding Coconut Flan at a beach bar? We were in Vieques for 4 days, stayed just down the street at Malecon House and ate at Bananas three times. We found it the best of the bars/restaurants. We had excellent carnitas tacos, BBQ sliders served on a locally baked bread and the coconut flan... More
