Right on the plaza de delicias. Nearly directly across from the red fire station. Get a local flavor. Don't worry about the lines (that means it is good) because they move super fast. You wait most 5 minutes and have a great cool down. I love the parcha, mango, coco, etc. It is very affordable--as is everything in Ponce.

We moved out of Puerto Rico in 1977. We always came back every summer. And we always came here first. It is the best of the best.

Great local Ice Cream. Very inexpensive and tastes great. The flavor selection is true to the area. My favorites are Mango and Almerenda.

The good news first, this is a must for any visit to Ponce. It's right on the square and the Ice Cream is a must have. The only bad thing and it's not there fault is All the homeless begging outside. Both nights there were 4 standing and sitting outside begging. One even followed us for about a block. If... More

I've been going there since I was a kid and anytime I'm in Ponce on a Sunday early evening that's my first stop before listening to one of the most exquisite community bands in existence is Puerto Rico.

one of the oldest ice cream shops in Ponce, is the King Cream AKA Helados Los Chinos. If you don't buy from here.... you simply have not passed through Ponce.

We stopped here and grabbed some ice cream right before heading across the street to "Plaza las Delicias". It's a great place to stop and grab something nice and cold to cool off.

I guess you like what you are used to. The vanilla tasted ok, but the texture is very off, more like ice milk. The coconut tasted ok, but then had an aftertaste like non dairy whip topping. It is an icon and it is inexpensive, so check it out, but keep expectations low.

Dear Amy, I'm manager of the King's Cream in the Plaza of Ponce (below hotel Melia), if that is the King's Cream you were at. - lots of King's Cream in PR, but all different (generally) Chinese owners. Our products are "sorbets" and not the creamy solid Baskin Robbins type of ice cream, that you might be used to. Sorry... More
