This is easily the best restaurant in the Dorado/Vega Alta hotel strip. Incredible creative and unique cocktails at the bar, and the food is nothing short of breathtaking. Do yourself a favor a visit this gem of a place. Highly recommended. Top notch service.

This is a quaint restaurant on the border between Dorado & Vega Alta. We went Saturday evening & ambience was great. Menu very appealing & all the food was sooo delicious!! Shout out to Victor who took very good care of us & knew everything...w/o hesitations. Look for him!! Prices are reasonable and definitely a must go for locals & anyone visiting the area. 100% yes!!! We’ll be back for sure!More

This place is a must if you are in the area. The food is superb; I had the churrasco and my partner had the eggplant lasagna and both were awesome. Victor, our server was outstanding and the music, as well as the atmosphere were great!...We would certainly recommend El Azafran!More

This place is really good. We had the opportunity to go twice. The first one we tried lunch (salmon with saffron cream with mamposteao rice, mofongo with shrimps in saffron cream). The food was tasty and exquisite. The service was excellent. We also tried brunch,...it was not an exception, we tried the omelette and a latte. The owner was there, he was very kind and gave us a little tour in the restaurant. You’re going to have an excellent experience if you decide to come here !More

The location is a bit off. Need to drive away from town or where most restaurants are. But employee there are super. Atmosphere is good with a very nice bar. Old traditional table service, table clothes, napkins, settings, the whole works. Menu appears a bit...odd in cheap cover, but food is good. Definitely a restaurant worth to recommend.More
