The mojito was not what I was told it was going to be. Maybe it depends on the bartender. The service was average.

The mojitos are amaizing! I always ask for bartender to make my mojito using Ron Don Q or Ron LLave. The food there is also very good. Octopus, Ceviche, Tostones, Mofongo, etc. Very local and fun place. Also my last stop before returning to US.

Come to El Coco the Luis and order the best MOJITO in PR; hands-down. This is a rustic place were you order standing. Do not expect table service or even tables, but they mix the best cocktails.

A small kiosk at the corner of Plácita Square with a good amount of people in front of the place on Fri and Sat evenings. I got my drink from there for the first time and it was like most other places around 5 to...7 depending on what you order. Make sure to ask about the price in advance, since it seems to fluctuate ($1 to 2) depending on the bartender. There could be a line so just wait. It's a good option to experience Plácita. Tips: 1. Pay by cash and you won't be charged tax. 2. Make sure to tip and they will remember you for a faster service the next time. 3. Bring your own cup to prevent usage of more plastic.More

Went to "La Placita" to get our bar time in...great experience all around! The market itself seemed a tad disappointing, but that feeling was short lived. El Coco de Luis was thee first and last place we visited while there....very low prices for most drinks...and absolutely phenomenal food! We got two orders of Tostones con carne cerdo....or fried plantains with pork, and it was delicious with generous portion size...they say and advertise that they have the best mojitos around and I have to say that it would be an argument to debate that statement, as they are awesome. Some folks have stated that they are put off by the $9 price tag, but if you watch them make it and really consider how good it tastes I assure you that you'll at least think of reconsidering that position. Staff is friendly and eager to please. 100% would recommend.More

This place sells the best Mojitos ever. I like it with rum Don Q Crystal. It is a low key bar, great service, and they also offer a variety of other tapa style sea food delicious too. They make soups every day of the week,...very good too. If you are into fry you have to try their Chicharrones de Pollo... very good.More

This is a terrific stall at la Placita. The service is great. Our mojitos were made fresh with tons of mint. Try the fresh ceviche! We were there in the early afternoon and there were several people having lunch or drinks but it was very...mellow compared to weekends.More

Best drinks, great mojitos and pina colada in la placita, they do finger food too, great for friends, it's more like a kiosk than a restaurant, but very good
