A most wonderful dish and a very non touristic price. The sauce was wonderful in fact every element of the dish was great. I am now looking for recipes to emulate this meal. We were told about the restaurant and went in for lunch. Not wanting an elegant sea food meal we opted for comfort food. It was one of... More

Was recommend by a local friend. It was excellent. Had appetizers vegetables fritters and a chicken dip with plantain chips. The dip was just amazing. The fritters weren't all that. Then the main course, the Mofango. With skirt steak. What a delicious entrees. Just awesome. Came with a side salad and a thousand island dressing. Overall great restaurant. Great service..... More

The food was good and the portion sizes were plentiful.I had the chicken with garlic, olive oil, and white wine sauce, which was full of flavor! The service was a little slow and our waiter didn't seem like he felt like working. Pleased with the food, but there's room for improvement with the service.

After being recommended to this place by friends and the travel channel we were very excited to visit this place while visiting Puerto Rico for the first time for my daughter's 10th birthday. I must say that the food was good. My youngest daughter liked her empanadas and my older daughter LOVED her rice and beans. My wife didn't like... More

Very cool spot in Old San Juan. Walking distance from the cruise ship docks. Staff wears traditional garb. Have been there twice. Excellent mofongo.

Just come and enjoy the mofongo with garlic shrimp and the chuleta kan kan. View pictures. Nuff said. A time machine of Puerto Rico in its early days.

Very interesting place, interesting decor and good food. Had to wait a bit but all felt that it was worth waiting for. It is larger inside than it looks from the street. Can accommodate larger groups
