Although this restaurant came highly recommended, we found it quite disappointing. Water arrived in plastic bottles without glasses. Lamb chops were ok but rest of seafood tapas were not what we are accustomed to.

We made reservations for 7 and had an excellent table near the "Tablao" as we were very intrigue about the Flamenco show... We had to park few blocks away in a public parking and hike up the Old San Juan hilly streets to get to the restaurant (very limited parking near the restaurant, if any). We ordered the sample plates... More

This our favorite spanish restaurant in Puerto Rico , Rosa de Triana is one of those places that you feel like home. The owner Jose Lloret and his niece Maria Luque treat all the clients like friends. I especially recommend the paella with Sangria.

I mean it when I say that the meal I ate at Rosa de Triana was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We were a party of six: grandparents (65 & 70,) parents (46 & 49,) and kids (10 & 11) and we all left happy. Though to be honest, the length of the meal did wear on... More

Great food and great service. Sangria was refreshing, great tasting and not too strong with alcohol. Tried "tostones" which is basically fried banana. Menu has plenty to choose from. Everything we had was good. Friday and Saturday nights has live flamenco entertainment. Make sure to make reservations for dinner.

Outside does not look much, but once you are in you will find yourself in a very nice old spanish type of tapas bar. Food was very nice. Big portions, so dont order too much at once. Paella was very very good. Service too. Only the tortilla was not very well seasoned, but looking at the rest of the food,... More

A cafe located in Old San Juan just across from El Convento. We sat in the courtyard that is filled with plants. Since no cruise ships were in town we were with all locals out for a nice dinner. Our waitress told us Sangria was their specialty so of course we had to sample it. Our plan was to go... More

My daughter and I ate here after taking a Walking Tour with the Rum Boutique/Coffee Shop right up the street. In all fairness, I experienced a few other restaurants in San Jan which were above the norm. So, when I came here, maybe my expectations were a bit too high. I will say the waiter was very attentive and was... More

We found this hidden gem accidentally. It is right across the street from El Convento. Small and intimate and bursting with tourists and locals, this restaurant provides a a fun experience and delicious food. The show was captivating and even the staff provides entertainment. So glad we found this place.

It was my first trip to Puerto Rico in April 2015 and like most of you, I came on Trip Advisor to find some good eats. I was beyond satisfied by this restaurant and went back multiple times on my last two trips to Puerto Rico in August of 2015 and just recently in June 2016. All of the food... More
