A cafe located in Old San Juan just across from El Convento. We sat in the courtyard that is filled with plants. Since no cruise ships were in town we were with all locals out for a nice dinner. Our waitress told us Sangria was their specialty so of course we had to sample it. Our plan was to go... More

My daughter and I ate here after taking a Walking Tour with the Rum Boutique/Coffee Shop right up the street. In all fairness, I experienced a few other restaurants in San Jan which were above the norm. So, when I came here, maybe my expectations were a bit too high. I will say the waiter was very attentive and was... More

We found this hidden gem accidentally. It is right across the street from El Convento. Small and intimate and bursting with tourists and locals, this restaurant provides a a fun experience and delicious food. The show was captivating and even the staff provides entertainment. So glad we found this place.

It was my first trip to Puerto Rico in April 2015 and like most of you, I came on Trip Advisor to find some good eats. I was beyond satisfied by this restaurant and went back multiple times on my last two trips to Puerto Rico in August of 2015 and just recently in June 2016. All of the food... More

We stopped in at Rosa de Triana to make mofongo as part of our Flavors of San Juan food tour. The atmosphere was inviting as was the staff. Everything from the sangria to mofongo to beans and rice were delicious. The area of Old San Juan where the restaurant sits is sheer perfection.

I really love this place but I feel compelled to clarify a few things for my fellow non-hispanic travelers, Spain is not the Caribbean!!! This is a typical Spaniard tapas bar. If you go outside this line you may found yourself struggling. Just go for the appetizers(TAPAS) and you'll be fine. They serve some caribbean dishes as the puertorican "MOFONGO"... More

I am not sure why we had a bad experience there. Because overall review of this restaurant on Tripadvisor was very good. It seems to me that their regular staff was not present there because we went there on Monday afternoon. It was a terrible service. There were no other customers at that time but still it took them way... More

I have been to over 10 different countries and this is by far the best restaurant I have ever gone to! The owner, Jose, is so personable and the staff treats you like family. Every time I come back, yes I come back every time I visit Puerto Rico, they remember me! That is pretty impressive since the restaurant gets... More
