Casual cafeteria style Latin American deli. Good food good choices. Not only was the food selection good but also were the selections for dessert and coffee.

We went to Kasalta for breakfast. The food was good but not as amazing as I read. We ordered 2 ham sandwich but for some reason were served cheese sandwich which was actually really good. The staff was ok, did not really speak english. I don't know if it always like that but there was no service at the tables,... More

Try swordfish with spanish potatoes... Ummm, delicious. Don't lose the opportunity to taste the "Tres Leches" and the expresso coffee.

On a Saturday you need to grab a good, delicious sandwich and keep on going with your chores. This is the place to go. Order a lentil soup and a steak sandwich with a bottle of water. Sit in long tables along with others that are doing the same thing as you. Eat and carry on. Great.

This bakery is amazing! They sell a huge variety of pastries, sandwiches, coffees, etc. They even have a counter for gourmet cheese and charcuterie. Prices are very reasonable, coffees are nice and strong, croissants were delicious, and desserts were delectable. Perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or dessert!

Kasalta is one of the two oldest authentic Spanish-style delis on the island. I love their soups, for one. Chorizo and garbanzo is my absolute favorite, with their Caldo Gallego coming in a close second. Any sandwich off their sandwich board (in the back) will satisfy you, but the Chorizo Cantimpalo is like a pepperoni pizza on crunchy toasted bread.... More

It is local hang out spot where everyone knows everyone here. It was a joy to have breakfast here but the scene was even more pleasant. No one was staring at their phone. The retirees are meeting up, the girlfriends are catching up and families are chatting away. The younger and older generation are hanging out together. It is a... More

A local favorite, KASALTA is great for breakfast and a lunch/ dinner snack. Pick up spot for tourist taking adventures tours and President Obama stopping by to eat here in 2011. The Turkey/ Cheese Croissant which is flat pressed was pretty good.

The fact that President Obama visited and had lunch at Kasalta in 2014 should tell you that someone thought this place was worth a visit. We found Kasalta on TripAdvisor and had to try it. When we walked in, we were immediately overwhelmed by the options....for desert. But, we stuck to our plan and had lunch. We had a terrible... More
