Whether it's in the morning, midday or in the evening Kasalta opens up a space for talking it is close to the beach. Breakfast served at any time. Good for catching up with friends or have a meeting.

Surprisingly, they did not have pan sobao which is my favorite bread on the planet. Their pan de agua was good. Sweets seemed a bit overpriced, but then again what bakery is super cheap nowadays. Would rather go to panaderia espana as they had more variety. Kasalta I don't think has parking, but was closer to hotels on ashford.

Ive been to PR once and this is the best place to get guava and cheese pastry. The pastry puff is nice and flaky and the guava tastes like real guava and not artificial. I wish they would ship to NY because I would pay and arm and a leg to have these delivered and freeze the rest.

This place makes the best sandwiches in San Juan. We tried many different kinds - the steak (which they said is the one for which they are famous), cubano, serrano ham and chicken and they were ALL amazing. We also tried their mallorcas and they were pretty delicious too. The line moves along, so don't be intimidated. Also, make sure... More

I wish we'd discovered this place sooner! This bakery has everything: breakfasts, sandwiches in all sized, pastries, muffins, cheese, coffee, drinks, you name it. After spending too much on a hotel breakfast, we came here every morning and ate like royalty for about $10. Coffee is delicious. Service is quick, if a tad brusque--but that's how they keep the line... More

The bakery is an icon for the area, although it is a loca bakery, the prices are very high compared to regular local bakeries. The service and flavor of comestibles are great, just pricey

This is an informal, serve yourself restaurant located near the nice Condado neighborhood. Great for lunch or just coffee and a pastry, or both.
