Great food (mufungo) was the best I had in San Jaun!!! 2 beers for $5 is a great deal!!! The staff is great, we sat at the bar for lunch then in the window for drinks a few days later. This is on the list of MUST GO TO places in San Juan!!!

I made a reservation for my mothers birthday on the open table website. When we arrived, we find out the place is closed for remodeling. Would of been great to have known this ahead of time. Yes, you are responsible as a business for all the sites you utilize. Even trip advisor stated they were open. So it's a thumbs... More

We stopped in for lunch after walking around Old San Juan and were hungry and thirsty. We sat at the bar which worked out well as we enjoy interacting with the bartenders. The two cocktails we each had were GREAT and not skimpy on the liquor. Lunch was equally great as was the dessert we shared. Our bartender/server was attentive... More

After a visit to El Morro and Old Town we stopped here for a few cold drinks and rest in the air conditioning. The staff was less than friendly. They had my party move 2 times since we only wanted "drinks" so POTENTIAL patrons would have tables available for them. While enjoying our company and speaking about our walks and... More

An institution in Old San Juan. Not as trendy as a few years ago, but still very consistent. The bar is very nice..

Greats prices for happy hour. Nice bar setting and TV to watch the EuroCup. Margarita, Mojito, local beer deals are the best around town.

I went recently with a group of girlfriends to kick off an evening in Old San Juan. The restaurant offers a fun atmosphere with great cocktails and empenadas right now Calle Forteleza. Would definitely recommend stopping in while you're exploring Old San Juan!

Had visited some of Emilio Figueroa's restaurants but this time completed the list. Hats off to Carlos at Dragon Fly, Joel at Toro Salado, David at Parrrot Club and Angel at The Gato Flaco Bar. (We went to Aguaviva last year, dont have our waiter's name, sorry but excellent service). You can tell these employees are very happy by the... More

Our server was Stephen and he was so attentive and helpful. Great place to get away from the busy streets and crazy drivers of Old San Juan. Very clean also. Serving sizes were great.

The Parrot Club is a nuevo Latino bistro and bar in the SOFO area of Old San Juan on Fortaleza Street. The Parrot Club is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors who enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, delicious Latin flavors and wonderful cocktails.Established in 1996, The Parrot Club quickly became a San Juan classic and a SOFO standard. Featuring innovative nuevo Latino cuisine from Chef Guillermo Gonzalez, the Parrot Club's menus spice up classic Latino dishes by combining fresh, local ingredients with modern culinary preparations. This results in flavors that are fresh and exciting. Try the Ropa Vieja Nachos, Pan Seared Shrimp with Arroz Chifa and our own Chocolate Coco Tres Leches. The impressive long blue bar is a scene in itself. Don't miss our world famous Parrot Passion, a frozen blend of Bacardi Limon, fresh orange and passion fruit juice or our classic mojitos. The Parrot Club was designed to take advantage of the colonial architecture of the building with its huge archways and tall beamed ceilings. The colorful art and design is vibrant and happening. Look into the open kitchen or step out to the lovely palm filled courtyard, perfect for private events or dining under the stars. With live Latin Jazz, a terrific weekend brunch, and family friendly lunch daily, there is always something going on in this exciting restaurant.
