The Parrot Club is one of those restaurants you simply have to try, if for no other reason because of the name. My first time there was a few years ago and I have been back many times since. It is owned by the same group that owns Aguaviva, just down the street. The Parrot Club is a short walk... More

Stopped by the Parrot Club for dinner AGAIN. The food and service were excellent as usual. Nachos for an appetizer and a few rounds of double mojito is good start. I still say they make the best mojito in San Juan. Joel was our server and he was excellent. He helped describe some of the dishes and was very attentive.... More

The service was super great from the time we entered to the time we left. Nacho appetizer and empanadas were delicious. There are only a few choices of main dishes. We ordered three of them including Paella, shrimp, and fish dishes. . I would say all of them are so so only. The bill is not cheap as well. It... More

We had lunch here while visiting Old San Juan. We had read about a few restaurants here but chose this by chance. Our server ( Giovanni) was very friendly and welcoming. We had sandwiches and mojitos- a perfect combination! We then went on to tour the city and the fort. Had a great day in Old San Juan.

I arrived in Puerto Rico yesterday and have been making a couple of stops along the roads of Old San Juan. With a suggestion from a friend of a friend we stopped in to the Parrot Club. We were greeted quickly and served our chosen drink (by Ms Adeleida) the Guava Island Rum Punch. 👍🏾. Our server was very friendly,... More

We stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan and this place was walking distance (most places are though in this area), and we were not disappointed! The Pina coladas are fantastic and you get much for the money. Me and two other women split the coco shrimp which were very delicious! Yes the food is pricey, but the portions are... More

Old San Juan ha been one of my favorite places in Puerto Rico since my childhood. Love shopping here! Today they have the SOFO Culinary Festival. I came early to shop and decided to have a cocktail around 2:00. Asked around and I was told to go to the Parrot Club and ask for David the bartender. I love mojitos... More

We were in town for several days before boarding a cruise out of San Juan. We went to the Parrot Club for my sister's birthday. They went above and beyond what they needed to help us celebrate. Very sweet people and the ceviche and plantains were wonderful. Parking is not great because they are located in the cobblestone streets of... More

The Parrot Club is a nuevo Latino bistro and bar in the SOFO area of Old San Juan on Fortaleza Street. The Parrot Club is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors who enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, delicious Latin flavors and wonderful cocktails.Established in 1996, The Parrot Club quickly became a San Juan classic and a SOFO standard. Featuring innovative nuevo Latino cuisine from Chef Guillermo Gonzalez, the Parrot Club's menus spice up classic Latino dishes by combining fresh, local ingredients with modern culinary preparations. This results in flavors that are fresh and exciting. Try the Ropa Vieja Nachos, Pan Seared Shrimp with Arroz Chifa and our own Chocolate Coco Tres Leches. The impressive long blue bar is a scene in itself. Don't miss our world famous Parrot Passion, a frozen blend of Bacardi Limon, fresh orange and passion fruit juice or our classic mojitos. The Parrot Club was designed to take advantage of the colonial architecture of the building with its huge archways and tall beamed ceilings. The colorful art and design is vibrant and happening. Look into the open kitchen or step out to the lovely palm filled courtyard, perfect for private events or dining under the stars. With live Latin Jazz, a terrific weekend brunch, and family friendly lunch daily, there is always something going on in this exciting restaurant.
