We definitely eat much when we ate here since it was first stop and early in the day. But the food we did eat was great and service was on point!! Everyone should definitely stop and grab something to eat and a Pina Colada!!

We recently stopped in San Juan while on a cruise. The restaurant is known as the place that Pina Coladas were invented. We stopped in here because we were actually looking for a place to have a mojito and we were pleasantly surprised that they also had a great selection of Mofongos, (which were recommended by our cruise director Chloe... On our last night in SJU the mgr of our hotel recommend this restaurant. The food was very authentic, and the ambiance was super nice. I enjoyed the decor and urban charm. We were very grateful for the enclosed air conditioned dining room, after walking around Old San Juan.

You just need to taste the pina colada!!!! The best time to go is before 2 O' clock pm, You just need to go to the second floor where you can have a very cheap lunch (taste the gallinita)... DISH SPECIALS A LOT CHEAPER THAN REGULAR PRICE BEFORE 2 PM!

The house where the Pina Colada was invented in 1963...it was excellent. Not too sweet (the way they seem to always be represented). Cute place. Didn't have lunch but many people were eating there.

The food here is flat out amazing! We ate here for an early dinner one night and enjoyed it so much we came back for lunch the next day. Prices range from $15 to $25+ per entree but it is worth it. Portions are large enough to make 2 meals. For dinner my wife and I had the mixed Paella... More

Friday night we enjoyed drinks, dinner and the show. Skip the taste of Puerto Rico appetizer. Bland and boring. Grouper bites were great and plenty for a lunch. Pina Colados good but not the best we had in PR. Skirt steak was awesome!!

This place claim to be the piña colada creator and its very good. For me food it's ok it's more a casual place, to make a quick stop for the coladas.

We stopped in for a light snack and a Pina colada. The items on the menu sounded scrumptious so we ordered dinner and a couple of Pina Coladas -each! There service was great, the food was great, but the pina colada was not freshly prepare. Instead, it was pre-made, spinning in one of those frozen drink machines. Rum was poured... More

I went here only for a piña colada since we were told they are the birthplace of the piña colada in Old San Juan. The service was quick and the staff were friendly except I was a bit disappointed with the piña colada. It did not taste freshly made. I ordered it without liquor and it had a bitter taste... More
