Went for the famous pina colada and at 8 dollars each they were delicious and excellent value. Well worth trying when in San Juan.

Went for lunch with my son and a group of high school students visiting from the US. For a very reasonable price and very little wait you can try local food.

The restaurant is very modern and chic. The flare is there. However it is so cold inside you can hardly enjoy your meal.the chips and guacamole were fantastic. The quesadilla was quite large but soggy. The shrimp was way over cooked! The prices were ridiculous .

This place was highly recommended by friends, so we made reservations three days before arriving (you need to for a Friday or Saturday night) and only because we wanted to see the flamenco show, if you have children request front sitting. The food was amazing , we had the seafood paella for two, stuffed plantains with shrimp, sautéed shrimp, guajillo... More

We visited Barrachina on the recommendation of my brother who had been there more than once. He actually recommended it for breakfast, but our schedule limited us to dinner. I'm so glad we went! While the greeter was not very good at her job, our interaction with her was minimal and wasn't so horrible to cause me to lower the... More

We went there the first time on the recommendation and invitation of another couple, and then returned a few weeks later with guests of our own. Good food and service on both occasions.

We literally stopped here for one drink, which of course was a Piña Colada. I came to realize that I do not like them and I do wish I would have split one with my boyfriend (not the restaurants fault! I do not like coconut!) the drinks were large and reasonably priced. The outdoor terrace was beautiful as well! We... More

A tourist trap as it raves as the home of the Pina Colada, but it is worth the trip and the food is very good and the black bean soup and skirt steak Muffongo is fabulous.

Landmark restaurant in Old San Juan where allegedly the Pino Colada was dreamt up . It's a bit of a tourist trap now - the caged Parrots are an unnecessary addition in this century. The food was OK, the portions huge , if that is important to you. I was glad we went due to the provenance, but it's now... More
