Relaxing atmosphere, great food and coffee, and the owner is incredibly charming. Highly recommended.
I went to Old San Juan with my family and friends and we saw this Coffee Shop. When we got inside, it was beautiful. You feel like you're in a old beautiful house. The atmosphere, the decoration, the coffee it was great!
An absolute gem! The place is in the heart of Old San Juan and not so easy to find - we happened to stumble upon it, thank God we did. It is an absolutely beautiful coffee shop; and the coffee... OMG, the coffee is delish...- authentic homegrown Puerto Rican coffee just like my abuela used to roast and brew. There were no menus or prices; the owner, Isabel, tended to us and was very accommodating. We had breakfast for dinner. We asked what she suggested and she made us - ham, egg, and cheese sandwich with was so good and the serving size was more than generous - it could feed 2-3 ppl. Isabel also served us coffee and a fruit smoothie (so refreshing). The food and drinks were scrumptious the prices reasonable for the quality and quantity served, but it is definitely not fast food. If you go, which I highly recommend you do, give yourself plenty of time - bring some reading material, browse through the web, or catch up on emails - you won't be disappointed. Remember you are on vacation and everyone in P.R. is on island time - they are open some days and closed others.More
We were looking for a quick sandwich before heading out to the airport. The hostess came out the door with a smile and said Coffee shop? We asked Sandwiches? Yes! We had a "Pepito" their name for a hot chorizo, cheese, sweet pepper and tomato...sandwich on a crispy baguette. Oh, my gosh! What a great sandwich! They offered tropical juices like guanabana (aka soursop) another, Oh, my gosh! A sweet, creamy fruit juice. So yummy. Pleasant service in a nice, cozy tea room/living room atmosphere. Clean and cool with a fresh decor.More
This Place is just in its own type of beauty. Calling it just a coffee shop doesn't do it justice. It's more like if the coffee shop was in the country house of the Queen that just so happened to be in Puerto Rico. Follow?...The people running this place are nice and hospitable. The Coffee is Great! We did run into a touch and go situations with my weird allergy. It's an allergic reaction to Cinnamon. I know right, what a weirdo. Anyway, I ordered the mochaccino seeing as I haven't tried it before and my fiancee ordered just plain coffee and a sandwich. Well turns out there's Cinnamon in the Mochaccino. Luckily, my fiancee tried it before I did or it would have been a longer day. But I had my fiancees coffee instead, and I liked it! This place is something you've got to see. You walk in and I guarantee the last thing you'll think it is, is a coffee shop. Caffeine Carefully! Hope this Helps!More

As soon as we said we are interested he offered...to give us a taste. It didn't even need sugar. Very high quality coffee.More
