Awesome food slow service

This is a Spanish style bakery with all kind of foods. I like the bocata with Jamon Serrano and manchego cheese. Breakfast is great and plentiful. Same as the sandwiches and pastries. Service however is very slow. But, if you are in for some good food, it's ok to wait for service.

Went here because I heard from a friend that this place has great pastry's. When I got there I was very impressed by the appearance, it was very beautiful, very clean, the pastry's, pies, bread, candy's were definitely something different. We ordered 1 sandwich cubano and 2 fresh squeezed orange juices. The sandwich was really amazing and the juice too.... More

La Ceiba is bakery but in PR a lot of bakeries serve food and this is one of the best. As I said their Caldo Gallego, Galilean Soup, is second to none.

This bakery offers very good food. I just had sandwiches and they are very good. Some people say it's expensive, but the sandwiches are huge. During my last visit I had one with jamon dulce (sweet ham), swiss cheese, mayonnaise and mustard.. it was simply delicious. I had dinner with a half and breakfast next day with the other half!... This place caters mostly to locals. Its like the old Studio 54 in NY, one needs to know someone to get table service. This place is like a deli on steroids, it has a huge counter with pastries and awesome Spanish style foods. They also have a line where you can order sandwiches. There are lots of tables where you... Great location, a bit tight on the parking space, but awesome food. It has a mixture of spanish and latin foods. Its great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As well as, for family gatherings.

START... Great coffee with churros... read the local paper... get back in line for a tortilla (Spanish omelette) with freshly squeezed OJ... catch your breath... finish with a cortadito (small espresso with a dash of milk)... while talking to the locals on the latest political gossip... go walk two miles!!!!

We like to eat breakfast every Friday at La Ceiba, located in Roosvelt avenue before going to work. The product that they serve is good. Although the service is slow and not service oriented to the customer. Employee don't take pride to give their best when assisting customer. My suggestion to the Manager, you must provide to your employees a... More
