On a warm Friday evening we took Marriott bartender's advice and walked over to Cafe de Angel. It was busy outside and inside and we grabbed a just-vacated table street-side. Service was prompt and friendly, the sidewalk traffic made for interesting conversation as we waited for the food. All was good- chuletas, pernil and mofongo con camaron, topped off with... More

Me and the hubby were approached by a guy that worked here recommending breakfast and offered us 10%off. We took a chance and went and the food was really good! The place every was clean, the waiters were very attentive and nice. The coffee was the best I had my entire vacation! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars... More

I won't wait in line to get into most restaurants, but we will gladly take a 3 hour flight just to eat their mofongo! It's definitely not a fancy place, but the food is really good authentic PR food, the service is friendly and the prices are great. Inside and outside seating. Watch for the included gratuity on the check.

We always try to eat at Cafe Del Angel when we are in Condado. On our last visit in February we met Popeye, he is a guy that stands in the street, morning, noon or night and gets people to come into the restaurant to give it a try. We even saw him on the beach one day giving out... More

Heard this was a great place to eat so stopped in. I asked to be seated in the AC portion of the restaurant and after being seated I thought I was at the isolation table after no one came by the table to even give me a glass of water. After waiting 10 mins I decided to get up and... More

If you are looking for good Criollo food and don't want to venture too far, this is the place ! The atmosphere is old school local. Music plays, the bar is jumping the staff is constantly moving and the drinks are flowing ! But the food ! The food is classic. There is something for everyone. It was quite warm... More

Food was great. I ordered the pernil with rice and sweet plantains and my gf ordered the bistec steak with yellow rice. Great food, service was awesome and we would definitely return in the near future.

We always come here first when we get into town. Tilapia is the best. Pork with red beans and rice also the best in town. White sangria so good...need to get by the pitcher (and we aren't big drinkers). Servers are wonderful. Must try when in the area.
