Truly a PR favorite for me. The ambiance and decor is great. The food is excellent- try the Seafood Mofongo. The cocktails are creative and delicious. The staff is friendly and informative. This time was solo and sat at bar, but very comfortable. Last visit...on porch which was just lovely. Call to make a rez or Open Table. Well worth it.More

One of my favorite meals during my time in Puerto Rico. Everything we had was delicious and interesting twists on classic PR dishes. Highly recommend the buñuelos and the ceviche. Cocktails and sangria were also great. The service and atmosphere was solid although the restaurant...is popular and the wait staff were very busy so it took some time to get their attention. The outdoor tables are nice, would recommend calling to see if you can reserve one of them.More

I was horrified to see they would offer soup to everyone on the house but us, waiter was very racial and rude, not worth the hype.

I reserved here in advance based on these reviews. It was my first time trying Puerto Rican food. Our server described to us what the food options on the menu were. They even brought us a chicken broth and what was like fish chips (don't...know the name) on the house! At the end of our meal she gave us a sample of their rum which was very good. If you are a newbie like me this is a good place to start/experiment. It was a convenient distance for us from the Sheraton Casino where we stayed. You can walk to and from if you want to (I believe was about 1/2 mi or little less) as there are side walks en route. We took an Uber to go there but walked back because it was dark and not as hot out. It was a good way to walk off my full belly.More

This was such a great experience. We were a party of 8 and ended up in a private room.. with a throne! Musicians from a local university were wandering around as well, which was super cool. The food was delicious, the service was great and...the location was easy to find. We loved our night out here and I plan on telling everyone who goes to San Juan to eat there.More

If you are visiting San Juan you absolutely must eat at La Casita Miramar. My girlfriend and I had the pork ribs and stuffed avocado respectively and our minds were blown by the food. Our server, Gabi, could tell us all about all of the...ingredients of our meals and cocktails, down to the specific way in which the artisanal rum was aged. Despite the five-star reviews, it is very laid-back and relaxed. Would 100% go back.More

BEST Puerto Rican Restaurant that I have been to! Hands down to the service, taste of the food and ambience of the place! Everything was phenomenal and will definitely come back when I visit Puerto Rico. Need a reservation in advance! Location: It is located...in Miramar San Juan. Once you enter the restaurant you can feel the vibe that you will have a good time here. The interior was nice, it looked like you were in a winery with lots of seating. Service: Omg our server is super nice! She gave us recommendations on what to get and even gave us free shots. We were a little bit late but still took us and waited for our chairs. I guess this is why the restaurant is top rated because of its nice employees. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, they had big servings as well so we couldn't finish it even though it was so good. PINA COLADA: the best pina colada that I had during my stay in PR, milky and taste like real pineapples. ALMOJABANAS over GUAVA CREAM: I have no idea what is inside, but it was delicious, the guava sauce complimented the balls. BUNUELOS: it is like meat balls with a white dressing, it was delicious. CASSAVA MOFONGO with SEAFOOD: probably one of the best mofongo I had, the amount of seafood here was a lot, and the cream sauce was so silky. GRILLED SKIRT STEAK with BREAD FRUIT TOSTONES: cooked it perfectly, the meat is tender and delicious, the tostones was bread fruit and it was the best tostones I had in my life. TRES LECHES: it was so good, look at the picture, it was so good that we ate it already. Price rating: 8/10, but the service and food is all worth it for the price. Will definitely come back here whenever I visit PR. Make a reservation cause they don’t accept walk in. Best Restaurant in PR!More

We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservations but were seated right away. I can't remember our waiter's name, but his recommendations were excellent, even the drinks were excellent. The food and service were amazing. It seems they may be short of staff so take...your time go in sit down enjoy your drinks, they do come to you just keep in mind that we are living in the "covid era" and right now, everything does take longer. VERY friendly staff.More
