Someone at our hotel recommended this place. Very friendly service. Most amazing food. We had the BBQ ribs with their homemade sauce. Unbelievable!! Server brought us several of their special items to try. Highly recommend!

I am habitually a type-A fella. I normally scour the Internet and TA to ensure I locate the restaurants we want to dine at before we take a trip. That's why our meal at Casita Miramar shouldn't have happened. We had booked a reservation for dinner in OSJ after a Legends of PR night tour. Our tour guide, Debbie (Fabulous... More

This is a hidden gem off the Old San Juan cobble streets. Follow directions and you will have a most wonderful dinning experience. Decor is colonial, like your in someones home, music level is perfect you can have a conversation. Your immediately greeted with plantain soup and cod fritter, both are delicious! Menu is covered in detail, our Waitress was... More

If you like authentic Puerto Rican-style food, this restaurant is a must. Located in the easily accessible Miramar area, Casita Miramar is unpretentiously perfect. The food is like the description on the restaurant’s website, the Sangrias are the best. The offer you free Bacalaitos for appetizer and Plantain soup. After your perfect meal, they also offer you - for free... More

Pros: As other reviewers have said, the plantain soup and bacalaitos were a nice touch. The space was beautiful and unique. The food was delicious! Husband got the milanesa and it was so good, my seafood mofongo had a great sauce but the mofongo itself was dry. You MUST get the tres leches for dessert - fantastic! Cons: The mango... More

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the Ritz Carlton. She and I were discussing 4 different places, and I asked her for her top choice. So glad she selected Casita Miramar! This was a lovely experience, all around. Apparently the Miramar neighborhood is primarily residential, so the it was very interesting to get to see someplace off the... More

Recommended by our Airbnb host, Casita Miramar was by far the best food my daughter and I had during our visit to San Juan, PR. The several other restaurants didn't even come close to matching the quality of this one. With meals that included Plantain Soup, Mahi Mahi Nuggets, Avocado stuffed with Mahi Mahi, and a beef meal (can't remember... More

An eclectic collection of furniture and unique design make this restaurant inviting. The menu is so appetizing that I wished the meals came in flights so that I could sample little tastes of everything. My family is good at sharing so I got to taste from every plate. And every plate was amazing. I came to Puerto Rico to eat... More
