Very nice hidden gem in San Juan, small in size but huge in service and flavor. Went there for the first time for a special occasion and what a nice surprise! Enjoyed the 5 course meal per chef recommendations, loved the scallops and sea bass....Prices are $$$ so if you are looking for cheap food you should go elsewhere. Will definitely repeat!More

A small cozy hideaway in the Acacia hotel, this place has only 5 tables and seats only 16 persons total. Intimate, and feels like dining in a cellar cave. BUT, beware of their shady business practices such as: 1) having inaccurate "stale" menu prices on...their website, 2) price gouging for specials (food and wines) and also bottled water (and serving additional bottles without even asking if you wanted another), 3) not returning your credit card after providing it for payment, and 4) billing your credit card multiple times for the dinner. YOU ARE FOREWARNED! Frankly, would have given the place zero stars except that the shrimp entree was spectacular.More

Superb French cuisine not just in PR but internationally. The food here compares favorably to best French restaurants in major cosmopolitan cities of the world. I had the tasting menu and every item was delicious. Unlike other tasting menus, the portions were good and filling.

What a find! The chef and his staff are world class! Don't miss this place. The Chef David Chamol comes to your table, explains the menu and offers a spectacular five course tasting menu for $99. Everything is fresh and fantastic. The waiter Caesar Augustus...is the best we have had, anywhere in the world! Capt MakaiMore

We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Niche Bistro. Chef Cheymol and Ceśar were wonderful. As I have several food allergies, they quickly and easily suggested alternatives for the tasting menu. Every course was spectacular. The flavors melted in your mouth and just were a treat...to your palate. If you are looking for a 5* experience with amazing food - look no further! Thanks again for an amazing way to celebrate our 25th anniversary!More

The service was slow, and the food was ok but overpriced. The place is quaint and certainly you can enjoy your mojito or any other tropical drink.

We had made a reservation to come here on our first night in Puerto Rico, and it changed our standard of fine dining. Chef Cheymol and his amazing staff, especially Ceśar, are clear pinnacles of their professions, and their warm hospitality and passion for food...and drink are obvious with every plate, every cocktail, every bite. We came back on our last night in San Juan, without a reservation, and were greeted and welcomed as old friends. I wish I could rate them higher, as Nichë Bistro is so much more than another restaurant.More

This place is way too expensive for the quality of the food. We tried the tasting menu, four plates and dessert, and ended up a bit disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, food is good it is just not as good as the prices suggest. They...also charge a lot for water without asking if you prefer tap or bottle. Finally the place is way too small for the amount of tables and it kind of feels like a cheap dive bar because of tasteless lightning. You could dine twice in San Juan, in better restaurants, for a meal worth in this place.More

I have only been there for dinner, but I believe they are open for breakfast and lunch also. It is connected to a hotel. The Acacia, so it has expanded hours.
