I visited this place last month while on a business trip to San Juan. I made sure to visit as many top rated restaurants as possible. I usually like to order whatever is popular and/or whatever the staff recommends when visiting somewhere for the first time. And I'm glad I did so here. Both waitresses, Genny and Krystal were very... More

Since it was our first trip to Puerto Rico, I did a little research to see what restaurants might accommodate our vegan diet for a day trip to Old San Juan. The helpful ladies at the tourism office marked all of my suggestions on a map and we set off on a self-guided walking tour. About half way through our... More

Ground floor has a bakery/coffee shop vibe but serves a full lunch menu and cocktails. Everything is delicious! 2nd floor is a "speakeasy" with small plates and craft cocktails. Brunch is a great value here. Everything is delicious. Try the house made hummus. 3rd floor is a small outdoor patio with a wine bar that is available for private parties.... More

This is a small restaurant that servers great food that you won't find in other places in VSJ. There is a great range of food, including vegetarian options, which is is not exactly part of the Cocina Criolla vernacular. We met with the owner and the manager, Aurelien, who are great people and had a great conversation. We laughed trying... More

We stopped here for sangria on a hot day. The drinks were watered down to the point of being tasteless (like water). I mentioned to the waiter that the drinks seemed very watery and I asked if maybe they forgot to put any alcohol in them (which I still think might have been true). He just laughed. When I got... They're just so cheap, if I pay$20 for eggs Benedict I'd expect to get at least a horrible eggs Benedict but not two hard boiled eggs, my girlfriend also got like two pieces of spinach. I felt so bad for the employees that have to go there everyday so I gave them a nice tip so they can afford to... More

We came here three years ago while visiting OSJ and were very pleased with the food and the service. This time not so much. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive and was lukewarm at best as if it had sat in the kitchen too long. They were very busy since it was Constitution day a local holiday so maybe... More

I had researched restaurants in OSJ and chose this one for its vegetarian choices, good ratings, and French-inspired cafe style. In spite of the fact that we were one of two parties in the restaurant, the service was painfully slow, and we saw about 6 staff members hanging around. We came for dinner around 6:00. We did not enjoy our... More

Extensive variety of delicious plates and options to offer. If your looking for the hole deal ask for the Brunch special. It includes a hot drink, a cold drink, Sliced Fresh Fruits and a Main plate of your selection. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN to experience a different plate.
