Nothing fancy inside or out. Actually a bit of a diner and counter inside. Great food served fresh & hot by Nicolas. Best of all was the reasonable price for OSJ. Perfecto !

We were studying a map looking for another cafe when a local asked us if we needed help and then suggested this for lunch and, while it was really busy, mainly with locals, it was a real find. Tried some local dishes & Mallorcas. Good service, great value. Definitely worth a visit.

Mallorcas and pastries are awesome! Mix of locals and tourists. Beware, can be very busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

After a hot morning touring the fort, we were all set to go to Cafe Cortes Chocobar, but oops... they are closed on Monday. I spotted Mallorca and the pastries in the window and noticed the place was packed. Our waiter had many tables and customers but was very attentive and gracious when I changed my drink. The menu is... More

Happiness in a pastry? An Old San Juan tradition! Is a must! Sugar coated breakfast sandwiches and strong coffee. Is there a better way to say good morning? It is located in in of the main streets and you can see all the fabulous pastries in the window! Amazing..

A local sent us here. You know you are in the right place when it is full of locals. We all got mallorcas of different kinds and they were all delicious. They are kinda small savory sandwiches with powdered sugar on top -- we had never had them before. My favorite was bacon & cheese, but I don't think you... More
