My friends and I had my birthday dinner at Aguaviva and it was amazing. The ceviches were delicious as was the mahi mahi! The restaurant really made my birthday dinner incredibly special. Highly recommend!

This is a must while in Old San Juan. This is an excellent restaurant with excellent food. The presentation is amazing and food quality and service is top of the line. Deanna took great care of us all night with awesome descriptions of each course and great recommendations. We have been coming to San Juan for years and I can't... More

My friend said she wanted seafood and i searched and aguaviva popped up. We got there and we felt welcomed from the beginning. Billy was our server and he was amazing, friendly and helpful. If you go there ask for him and definitely a place to visit for good seafood!. Thanks again Billy!

Great atmosphere! Super service and awesome ceviche! Very charming neighborhood and easy to get to in old San Juan. We didn't have a reservation, but were seated right away. Swanky vibe but personable service and great food!

Slow and expensive My son had the jerk chicken which was good with truffle fries. I had chicken dumplings and they were also good. The service was horrible and we waited about an hour to get our food. There were only 3 others families there at the time and 4-5 people at the bar I can't imagine the wait when... More

This was our first time in Old San Juan and we stumbled upon Aguaviva. We were immediately greeted by Marc at the door. My husband and I sat at the bar; Diana was the bartender and she made the best drinks. I had drinks I would never think to order but she made them taste delicious. Marc & Diana made... More

Mark was helping us get a break from a rain shower when we decided to stay for dinner. Service, atmosphere and the quality of the meal from start to finish made this an evening to remember.

My friends and I made a reservation to this restaurants based on the reviews, but it was such a disappointment. The food and service were bad and it is not a cheap restaurant either. We were in our 3rd day in San Juan and had tried other restaurants so Aguagiva was a complete let down. I suggest you go to... More

This place had EXCEPTIONAL service, all thanks to Billy. The food was great as well. They went above and beyond to take care of us and were very tentative. We highly recommend grabbing dinner here, try the salmon (it melts in your mouth), the oysters were fresh and delicious. Drinks were on point....but really Billy was the icing on the... More
