I went there to taste their famous oysters. Delicious. They have a 2 X 1 special from 5 to 7:30 that let me taste different styles in volumes... Yummy! You must go there and do the same. The atmosphere there and the presentation were spectacular, very classy. The waitress there last Saturday evening was very friendly, told me the history... More

My wife picked this spot for my birthday dinner and what a great choice. We got there right at 5pm, which is when they open. We were the only ones there through most of our dinner. We started a watermelon mojito and a watermelon sangria. That was the forat of many (lol). We ordered an appetizer of octopus ceviche and... More

The oysters 4 ways were very good, the octopus ceviche was also good but I had to add more lime juice to kick it up a notch. The bartender was awesome and made the night!

When I am headed to San Juan, I know that I will be feasting well at some of their 700+ restaurants. San Juan has many of the upscale chains from the States, although why dine in a restaurant that you have back home, when you can eat in some incredible Latin inspired restaurants. For my first night, it is always... More

We came in before the restaurant had even started there operation hours. A very kind waitress came up to us, sat us down and explained that the kitchen opened in half and hour but that we could order drinks and wait if we wanted. And so we did, 30 minutes went by fast, as we took an extensive look at... More

I've been to Aguaviva four times and every time has been absolutely phenomenal. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Old San Juan. The food is impeccable, the service fantastic and the atmosphere relaxing. I've sent several friends here and no one has ever been disappointed. The inside of the restaurant reminds me of being underwater surrounded by jellyfish.... More
