Mark was helping us get a break from a rain shower when we decided to stay for dinner. Service, atmosphere and the quality of the meal from start to finish made this an evening to remember.

This place had EXCEPTIONAL service, all thanks to Billy. The food was great as well. They went above and beyond to take care of us and were very tentative. We highly recommend grabbing dinner here, try the salmon (it melts in your mouth), the oysters were fresh and delicious. Drinks were on point....but really Billy was the icing on the... More

My fiance and I went here expecting to have some fresh seafood. The ceviche tasting was good. We were able to try two different styles. We split the Paella. I love Paella and this was not Paella. The seafood in the dish was way overcooked and there wasn't even a hint of saffron. Every single employee seemed preoccupied or genuinely... More

My boyfriend and I came upon this restaurant upon our vacation in Old San Juan. Walking in, the restaurant is small, modern and beautiful. Reminds me of some of the beachy yet upscale oyster bars in Boston. We were greeted immediately and swept to a table in the small, cozy dining room. Our server, Billy, was with us right away,... We stopped there for dinner while visiting Old San Juan and tried the six ceviches - which are served with plantain chips(?) It was so delicious especially the shrimp and coconut milk ceviche. Great selection of wine and juices, the fresh lime and watermelon juice was incredible! Service really friendly and fast

We will definitely return to Aguaviva on our next trip. The service is excellent as well as the food. I recommend the mango and/or mojito homemade ice cream as it is amazing.

Delicious food, 5 star service and complimentary birthday glasses of Champagne. Food is beyond delicious and the watermelon sangria without the ice is delicious. Must go for a great bargain price for dinner.

We have eaten at Aguaviva many times on previous visits to OSJ. This visit we were really craving great seafood and Aguaviva did not disappoint. We started with a shared SOFO salad. Really fresh with jicama, cucumber and tomato. We shared a trio of the best ceviche and tostones. We had a tuna with onion, a snapper/avocado and a spicy... More

We went with some friends for dinner to Aguaviva. Good service and modern decor. Drinks were OK but the food was good overall. We ordered a couple of appetizers: fried calamari and ceviche with tostones. For main entrees: Risotto with seafood with scallops (it was a little bit salty for my taste); Grouper stuffed with lobster mofongo, grilled mahi mahi... More
