Six of ate here while in port off of a cruise. The restaurant is a modern place in Old San Juan. We had a variety of appetizers and entrées and all were spectacular. The serving sizes are huge. Make sure you allow plenty of time because the restaurant is slower paced.

Last night my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Aguaviva. So glad we strolled in! We sat at the bar where Jorge took such great care of us! His cocktails were unusual and delicious and his food recommendations were super. The food was so delicious. Turns out- I really do like mofongo!! The ceviche was very, very... More

This is our second visit to Aguaviva and again it was an amazing experience. Tuna cerviche and crab cake appetizers were delicious. Service from Jorge on spot and personable. Lobster and paella for a main course and we are leaving happy. Life is worth living when you have this to experience.

My husband and I found the calamari and coconut shrimp to be some of the best we ever had. The lobster mashed potatoes and snapper were delicious too. Service from Billy was fantastic! He went above and beyond! We will definately be back again.

The food was really good. Service was great as well. The ceviche is a must. The mango one was the best out of the ones we tried. The orange flan is outstanding

We stopped here last night and had a very enjoyable time. Jorge was our server and was "spot on" and did an awesome job. The cervice apps and pan seared dumplings were great as was the mahi, my wife enjoyed the salmon very much. We wouldn't hesitate return, and certainly recommend.

Jorge is my all time favorite person in Old San Juan now. He made me this amazing rum cocktail without a name..."Jorge special" I guess! (He's in the background of picture below) it was so delicious and whipped up based on my limited descriptions of what I was in the mood for. The ceviche was excellent. All of the staff... More

Very dissapointing with the service, too expensive for the amount of food. Even my wife fish was too fishy..
