*Established in 2000, 311 Trois Cent Onze is located in the heart of Old San Juan, housed in a landmark building at #311 Fortaleza Street. It hosts approximately 25-35 people for sit down dinner. *It is a quiet early dinner restaurant. *At 311 Trois Cent Onze, you will experience the gentle and unobtrusive service of 311 professional staff. It is perfect place to celebrate intimate birthdays, anniversaries, business meetings and other special occasions. *Take under consideration a dinner at 311 is an experience of approximately 2 hours. *Reservations are strongly suggested. *For reservations you can call the restaurant directly Tuesday thru Saturday 4:00pm to 6:00pm or book thru OpenTable. *Do let us know if there are children on the reservation (note that we do not have a Children Menu. *Service Dogs Only with Proper Vest *Call and ask ahead for Corkage Fees and Limits on amounts as well as Cake Service Fees. *Note that we have a 10-minute grace period on reservations. Arriving at Trois Cent Onze was like entering a bistro in Paris and the French-speaking server added to the overall ambiance. The menu is classically French. We started with the steak tartar which was delicious, albeit with a bit more of a kick than the traditional version. My bouillabaisse was full of seafood but I found the broth a bit thin and lacking in flavor. My husband’s duck was perfectly cooked and my son loved the mushroom risotto, which was huge in portion size. By far, the best dish was the raspberry souffle – light, airy and flavorful. It was one of the best souffles I have ever had anywhere in the world.

311 Trois Cent Onze is a very friendly French restaurant in Old San Juan. Our party of 8 ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees. The vote among my friends was unanimously positive. I loved my Bouillabaisse, and my friends could not say enough about their steaks and scallops. We appreciated friendly service for a large and loud group, and would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Quiet, very pleasant, welcoming ambiance that allows you to enjoy the restaurant and the food. Never felt rushed at any time during the meal and actually, my husband for the first 20-30 minutes was out of the restaurant trying to locate our Uber driver because he had left his phone in the car. The wine was outstanding, and they had a fantastic selection. We drank a bottle of 2015 Chateau Bel Air Gloria with our meal that was delicious. Hubby and I split the terrine of the day that was yummy. Two entrees, Roasted breast of duck cooked medium rare and beef filet, both were outstanding. The chocolate mousse served in pastry lightly sugared and fried was out of this world. We would definitely go again as it rivaled some of the best food we have had in other major city. Gracias!

Coq au Vin was no better than the one I made myself from watching a YouTube video. My wife's Lobster Risotto was made with chewy, flavorless Caribbean crawfish, probably previously frozen, and uninspired soggy risotto. Very good fresh baked bread was served with the tiniest little pat of butter that made it look like a satire of French cuisine and ruined the moment.
Would not recommend.

Excellent food in a lovely atmosphere.
The ceilings are remarkably high, which gives the restaurant an airy feel that the lighting really accentuates.
The menu doesn't seem adventurous, but everything we had was very well executed. The mushrooms in the quiche were superb- the button mushrooms and the shiitake were prepared separately and complemented each other perfectly in a light but hearty appetizer. The beet and goat cheese salad was well-balanced, with the sweetness of the beet and the tartness of the green highlighting the cheese. The beef bourguignon is a classic, but the truffle mashed potatoes made it memorable. The Muscovy duck breast was excellent at medium-rare, and the apple tart was a pleasant finale.
Excellent choice for a special night out.

For several years we've gone to this restaurant at least once every time we're in San Juan. It's among the very best restaurants in San Juan. At our last visit we shared the pork and liver terrine appetizer. I had the bouillabaisse (it's consistently so good that I almost always have it) and my husband had the monk fish special. Everything was excellent and the service was outstanding. If I have any criticism it's that they should do away with wrapping the silverware in paper napkins -- this restaurant deserves real napkins and properly placed silverware, although our waiter did a great job of compensating for the "fast food" approach. It might be time to go back to real menus, too. Trois Cent Onze is so good and so reasonable that it should be more than just a special occasion place.

I was hesitant on my wife's choice as we can get great French food in NYC and we have friends in Paris... why do we need French food in Puerto Rico? I'm dumb.
The escargot, mussels, pate (special), duck and monk fish (special) were all great. It's not a cheap meal and the portions aren't giant but it's proper fine dining and well worth it. Great spot for a date night.

Beautiful little restaurant with nice atmosphere. Waitstaff was great and food amazing. I had had the bouillabaisse which was delicious and not heavy. My wife had the duck and absolutely loved it! Our favorite item, our appetizer, was their mussels. Some of the best I’ve ever had!!

This is an excellent French restaurant in Old Sam Juan. The soup of the day (cream of potato) and the French onion soup were delicious. The mains were similarly of superior quality: salmon and duck. Very quiet ambiance and attentive wait staff.

I can’t say enough good things about 311. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend during our first trip to PR and we haven’t made a trip since without enjoying a meal here. 3 so far. The staff measure their tenure in decades, the service is impeccable, and the food is amazing. Our most recent visit was for our rehearsal dinner with a group of 16. Organizing this event with the owner Sylma could not have been easier. Her communication, flexibility, and attention to detail made planning easy and the event flawless. If you’re looking for incredible food with top notch service in a relaxed atmosphere, Tres Cent Once is your place.

We booked here on our first proper day in Puerto Rico. Started with a beetroot salad and a pate, then I had a fish dish and my wife had a vegan asparagus mushroom and broccoli plate. All full of flavour and especially full of colour. My chocolate dessert rounded the meal off perfectly. Typically French food, not cheap but all perfect and an excellent vegan selection.

We were lucky to have a reserved lunch in this classy yet cozy restaurant, with a very attentive and professional staff. Service was fast and efficient. The food was just incredibly good. We decided to take a break from the typical local cuisine, and we found the best change of scenery on Trois Cent Onze. Their wine menu is really well-armed, and I highly highly recommend the risottos, the best I've ever had. This is a place worth visiting many times

The most outstanding restaurant in San Juan. I say that having been disappointed in the service at Vanderbilt 1919 and a little overwhelmed by the prices and machine that M… has become. This is my go-to, year after year. Imaginative French cuisine classically prepared. Intimate setting. There were only 4 other tables seated besides ours. Great service, very attentive. Complete wine list. Quiet. Properly lit. I think entrees that average $30 is a bargain. Put 311 at the top of your list whether you’re a couple, family or business meeting.

We had a beautiful dinner. Impeccable and welcoming service. Elegant atmosphere We ordered the terrine and beef. Our side of grilled vegetables was prefect. We swooned over the white chocolate and cardamom crème brûlée. Prefect special meal.
