Well Good Day , Horrible I decide that I wanted to enjoy a decent steam fish so I went to Port Royal . My Family and I went to the one on 5th Queens street at first, where we received the most horrible service ever....We were down stairs for a while watching some foreigners under the tent receiving assistance from staff which is ok ... but no one came to acknowledge us, we then made our way upstairs where there were some empty tables which Had a plethora of dirty plates on them . No one took the initiative to clean them off. I get that It might have been a busy night but we stood there for a good twenty minutes waiting for some one to come to our assistance and no one came .. I went down stairs to see if some one was free to assist us but all I was told is that “someone is coming” No OnE Came . Great After getting annoyed of waiting, I then decided to stop by the other Glorias in the area where I was greeted by a hospitable man called Theo (a brown fellow ) I really don’t Remember his name. He ensured that our Mask was on and that our hands were sanitized . We went upstairs and sat and shortly after a staff came to assist us . We got our meal and it was superb. Thumbs up to chef of the night of August 2, 2020 . I work in the Hospitality field for over several years now and I have always inform guest that all Glorias are great but after what I have experienced I would never recommend the Glorias on 5th Queens Street. Remember first impression last and even if I don’t have an accent I am still a guest u don’t know who u might allow to walk out bcz of failure to give exceptional customers service. DKHMore

i have been to this resturant for mzny, many years. the food remains good but over the years, the service has deteriorated to extremely poor. no one seated us nor told us where to sit. menues were placed on the table by a young woman...who seemed tired and unhappy. the meal was sort of shoved in front of us and our waitress never returned until it was time to clear the table. the food presentation was nice to see but service extremely poor.More

Went with 3 clients the other day to the one at the point. We had lunch there and ordered the special, which was around $20 US. It had lobster, shrimp and grilled fish. The food was really good. I enjoyed the meal. The soup comes...in a paper cup. It was decent. We had a few beers and they were lukewarm. One of the guys asked for ice with his light beer. Service is absolutely terrible. The guy and girl working there gave us attitude. We asked to remove one of the tables and gave us attitude. When we were ordering, the lady gave attitude. The bathroom is located in another small building across the street. Parking could be quite difficult. This restaurant gets packed with locals on the weekends, but I don't understand why. The restaurant and area needs a serious face lift.More

Was told i could not eat there becauce i was underdressed. Looked around the outdoor seating area to find a guy dressed just like me. So i grabbed 2 menus and my wife and i sat down outside. We both decided on the chicken. When...we ordered was told "no chicken this is a sea food resturant." I said so why is it on the menu. Any how we just decided to leave.More

I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant because of their terrible customer service. On Monday, December 30th, 2019 our party of 7 arrived a little after 8pm in order to get something to eat and kill some time before a flight. We seated ourselves upstairs, which...was full save for one table. After 10 minutes of waiting I asked what’s the procedure of making our order and was told to just wait until someone comes to the table. To make our wait bearable we started playing uno. I don’t know if it’s because we seemed relaxed but it took them an hour and a half before someone came to take the orders. We were ordering our food and drinks but was rudely told by the waitress that she’s not taking any drink order, ONLY FOOD. We proceeded with only our food order although others around us got to order drinks while they waited 😔. We continued to play uno, but after half hour a member of our party told the waitress that someone needed to catch a flight and asked how much longer it’d take. He was told to wait it’ll soon come. In another instance he tried to ask the very same waitress another question while she was passing by and she flashed him off and said she would come back. She didn’t come back, but rather walked pass him again without a word. To add insult to injury some people who came after us got their orders in and served before we even got our utensils. After over 2 hours we were finally served. 3 of our 7 orders came cold and distasteful. What’s more, a baby roach crawled out of one of the plates (cold order that wasn’t touched) when we were boxing it up. We indicated this to the waitress and she said it’s just a bug and was defensive that it must have crawled on the table and didn’t come up with the food. It’s a good thing I took pictures and a video because when we told the manager about the poor service they were saying there was no roach/bug all together. The manager himself was rude and pushed off our complaint to another woman that was seated at the register. All in all it was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Don’t waste your time at this place because from the manager down customer service is deplorable.More

This place is well known for its sea food. It's at Port Royal which is largely closed at present while they clean up Fort George and build a cruise terminal. The restaurant was empty, so we just had a drink

It was a family weekend and we decied on seafood so we went to the famous Port Royal. When we arrived there was a crowd but thankfully it wasnt a large one which Gloria's tends to have at times. We've had good and bad experiences...with this restaurant but on that night it was'nt a bad one. Food was tasty and well presented and service was ok.More
