Went to ricks cafe by catermaron, truly is one of the best sunsets in the world. Service was fast and food was delivered to the table at a reasonable amount of time. And was good.

It’s a beautiful spot and a must see when in Jamaica. Known for the cliff diving, ricks has a pool, restaurant and bar. I highly recommend as it’s the best location to watch the sun set!!

The big draw here is the sunset and the cliffs where you can dive in from many different heights. There are professional divers who are amazing and the spot you dive into is really something to see. It is always packed with visitors from all...More

I was disappointed in the appearance of the bar/restaurant. It was dirty and run down. We only went to jump and say we went. The view is beautiful and the jump was fun but I cant imagine going more than once.

Unique setting ruined by over saturation of tourism. If you hate crowds avoid this place at all costs. Great location , very unique however the sheer spectacle is ruined by over priced food and drinks and way too many people crammed I to a small...More

We came to ricks cafe around 12:30pm (it opens at 12) it wasn’t overly crowded and there were no lines to jump off the cliffs or to get drinks. We had a few few drinks which weren’t bad (about $6 usd each) and had lunch...More

Description
OUR STORY BEGINS with the opening of Rick's Cafe by its founder, Richard Hershman, in April 1974. At the time, Negril was a sleepy fishing village with little development. It lacked many modern amenities such as electricity, telephone and hot running water. Our beautiful little cliffside location was originally owned by a local doctor, the son of the first Governor General of independent Jamaica. RICK’S CAFE was the first public bar and restaurant of its type on the West End Cliffs, offering an alternative to Negril's majestic seven mile beach. From the beginning, Rick's Cafe boasted an unrivaled view of the sunset from its naturally formed cliffs. Over the years, visitors and locals alike have designated Rick's Cafe as Negril's premier gathering spot and our sunsets have become a Jamaican tradition.
