There is no doubt this place has consistently good traditional Jamaican food and I regularly have eaten here while staying in Negril. The downside is the owner is miserable and mistreats her staff. I don't say don't eat there because good consistent food is hard to come by but maybe spread your money around to restaurants where the staff might... More

When you need some good local food whilst in Negril you got to check out the Sweet Spot restaurant. The cost of food there is very affordable. They have natural juices and alcohol. There is also a mini mart on the same building. It's like a one stop shop for food and grocery. The environment is very clean and welcoming.... More

This little place hidden on the Street has every restaurant on the beach beat! The food is the best we had during our stay and the prices are way more reasonable than the over priced beach restaurants. I recommend everyone staying in the are to eat here at least one time during their stay!

This place looks like a shack from the outside, and actually may even look like one on the inside. There is not a lot of seating inside, and no AC, so be prepared to sweat a little while you are in there, but we had one of the BEST meals of our vacation here. I ordered the oxtail meal that... I think that says it all. I like good well cooked food. I'm not a snob, the location or appearance of a place would not put me off. This place came recommended by one of our Jamaican friends and he took us there one day after a trip to Ricks. The fried chicken was excellent, probably one of the best... More

I had fish, the chicken, salt mackerel and some of their custom juices, everyone of those things was delicious but most of all the service was great

Had the acki and saltfish, as I had to try it. The acki was OK, as I had it another night somewhere else and was better in flavour and texture. The ginger beer was SO GOOD. Great for hangovers. The acki came with three starch vegetables, boiled. My friends had eggs and bacon and toast, which they loved. Never got... More

My husband and I came here for dinner a few times while staying at a resort near the restaurant. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere laid back and lovely. Would definitely come back for the oxtail! Plus there are fresh squeezed juices!!
