Overall, the dinner was very pleasant! The location is great, right on the beach with your toes in the sand and a sunset dinner! The shrimp were quite good, but the lobster was a little over cooked and chewy! Service was on the slower side considering there was only one other table in the place! I would give this place... We went here for dinner one night after a recommendation, and after seeing the menu board while walking on 7-mile beach one afternoon. We (5 of us) were seated outside at a plastic table and chairs on the beach, and the candlelight dinner we all experienced was really nice. We had a nice selection of meals (I had my normal... More

My wife and I were staying at couples and we were looking for some more authentic Jamaican food. We stumbled on to this place and it was awesome. The bartender Neal was awesome. We had jerk chicken and green curry chicken and it was awesome. We liked it so much for lunch we went there for dinner too. Keep in... More

My husband and I were looking for a different place to eat lunch. Based on Captain Kirk's recommendation, we decided to eat at Sun Beach. I had a pina colada and my husband had a fruit daiquiri. Both were extraordinary! Alesha was the bartender there and what a gem she is! Very polite and personable. My husband has the cheeseburger... More

Sun Beach is right in the middle of the 7-Mile Beach. Great location. This is the spot to go to to sun, drink, eat and swim in the beautiful Carribean. If you are staying on the cliffs or visiting Negril for the day this is where you can come and hang out and usr their chairs and umbrellas. Staying in... More

First night in Negril, we walked the beach in the evening and ended up stopping at Sun Beach Restaurant for Supper (7pm). We sat at a little plastic table, lit by candle light close to the water....it was beautiful...very quaint, cozy, private..food was very good, with 2 cokes $35USD.

Husband & I ate dinner at Sun Beach just before the sun set and it was beautiful! Tables are placed on the beach just steps from the sea and candles are lit at sunset. Started with the pumpkin soup and it was perfect. The food, the waiter, the scenery was just what we wanted for a romantic beach dinner. We'll... More

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here on our last night in Negril. We loved sitting on the beach watching the sunset. We both had pasta (him lobster and mine was shrimp) which was fantastic. We were served pumpkin soup to start (it was free) and had the conch appetizer which was great. Service was wonderful and the waitresses were... More

I have enjoyed going to Sun beach over 10 years now, and will probably continue to do so, but much has changed since they physically moved the bar some years ago. Food - this used to be a very good value place to eat but prices have rocketed on a lot of dishes and the quality is inconsistent. Some main... More
