Horrible service, Sat there for 30 minutes and no service. Spoke to three servers who all had a different excuse. Very poor!

Murray's Fish and Jerk Hut is hands down one of the best Jerk spots I have ever been to in Jamaica. Situated in the cool parish of Clarendon, this restaurant provides its visitor with some of the tastiest meals. Their menu is so accessible; just...a scan of their provided barcode, and it is right at your fingertips which I absolutely love. As the name suggests, they have everything Jerked. Jerk chicken, jerk pork, jerk fish, jerk sausage and even jerk rabbit, which is a must-try! Though it's a hotspot, I can guarantee you'll find a table, but what is even better is that you can make your reservations on their website just to be on the safe side. I visited the restaurant on Sunday, February 6th, 2022, and I found that one downside on that particular day was the customer service. Though their staff is very friendly and welcoming, it is almost impossible to get a waiter to place your order, especially in their happy hour, but once you take a bite into that meal, that frown will be turned upside down. The ambience was excellent, the music was not too loud nor was extra, and the atmosphere was terrific and added to my overall experience. Still the Best Jerk in Jamaica. Friendly staff. And they have finally.... Finally figured out how to get rid of the flies. However there is a quality drop... I think it has to do with changing the cover from zinc sheets to a lift top....There is something about the corrugated shape of the zinc that improves the heat and smoke circulation. The place to stop when going on the south coast ‘ that what we were told ! On Thrusday afternoon 4pm I ordered Mannish Water - and was most disappointed 😞 was there a miss with sugar being salt ? The soup was extremely sweet.... I was very down because it is my fav and country soup should be the best . The team had chicken and sausages , oh my 😢. The ambiance and staff was good . Pity ! My gf came down on the Friday at 2pm and stopped for her favorite curry goat and was told they it was finished . Isn’t this one of the main advertised dishes? That should be in abundance? Hope they make an effort we cannot settle and out behind the good ole grandmas slow cooking .More

A very good off the road kind of ambiance with pleasant staff. Kim my server was particularly very helpful and courteous as she served us. The order was a long wait and I think the drinks could have been served much earlier. Outside of this...another great place to eatMore

Right before we got to our hotel we spotted this gem. Music was right. Ordering was easy by the window. Meat was fresh. Cooks was very friendly.

My friend picked me up from my Mother’s in Mandeville for a short drive to Murray’s. One thing about me is that l love my food and the Jerk Pork had me contently singing for more. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, perfect smiling customer service and...what a lovely spot. Washed with a nice chilled Sorrel Red Strip Bear. I think l was in heaven. It was my regular visiting spot and l am looking forward to coming back and exploring more of Murray’s Cuisine in the future. Maybe the jerk rabbit 🤔🤔🤔More

More spacious, restroom upgraded. Since Appleton has come on stream, more staff, served quicker , food still good , but staff need to be more alert and a little more courteous. Remember it all about the customer. Looking forward to when the ice cream parlour...opensMore
