I ordered Ackee & Saltfish nice native dish, it was yummy. Service was good. Rum runner was very delicious. The only downside was having to go through yet another hassling shop to get upstairs to the restaurant. Very annoying in my opinion. Nice atmosphere.

food was good, but overpriced. I had a cheeseburger and my wife had jerk chicken wings. it kept us out of a downpour, so I guess it was worth it... well just a little.

We took a cab to shop. After we were shopped out, we went to this rooftop place for appetizers and drinks. The time we spent there was great. The two folks in the kitchen were very friendly. I tipped the cook and the guy that took our picture. You could tell the truly appreciated it. Would recommend to kill some... More

Stay clear!!!! Do not let your tour guides fool you. This place is the biggest tourist trap. No longer owned by the Marleys means no longer authentic Jamaican food. Jerk chicken was baked chicken with Bbq sauce. Jerk shrimp looked like popcorn shrimp swimming in who knows what sauce. Ackie and salt fish was just ackie and salt. Management could... More

Of course we wanted to eat at Mama Marley's! How much more authentic can you get than eating at Bob Marley's mother's restaurant? We had the curry chicken, and it was delicious! However, you must order at least $20 worth of food and drinks if you want to pay using a card. They don't bend on this rule, so make... More

Where do I start...well I walked in to find one member of staff asleep with her head on the cash register. I then walked to the bar, got a menu and ordered food and a soft drink. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries. What I got was those cheap yellow nuggets you find in the frozen food section in... More

A place to eat at! Located right in the downtown area Mama Marley's is close to the crafts market, shopping center and the cruise ship terminal. A walk up the floor and there you are in a quaint little restaurant. Small, separate bar, open kitchen, good aromas. Famous for their jerk chicken with rice and jerk chicken burger. The staff... I visited this restaurant as part of an inland excursion from a cruise. There were about 10 of us, we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was very good and value was ok. The waitress was less than enthusiastic about taking our orders and her attitude was very aloof. I certainly wasn't expecting the red carpet treatment but... More
