I booked the restaurant for my partner birthday and I called and advise them it's birthday celebration. They said they offer decoration on the table. When we arrived they didn't even check if we had reservations or not. Upon seeing there wasn't a table reserved or decorated for us we decided to dine at the bar the server didn't provide us with water at the table when we asked she said we have to pay for water because we are not at the restaurant dining area. We placed our order and received bread with butter when open butter pack it was pure oil butter melted and was served for us to consume oil. Our server paid little to no attention to us each time we need something we have to be call out to her and the restaurant wasn't busy. So I expected great service. The common jestures and interactions wasn't offered. There was no martenies available which is the number 1 thing we drink. Our first experience and so far will never return to dine. #POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

We recently celebrated my birthday at almond tree. While the food was excellent, and we enjoyed our dinner, the overall experience was somewhat marred by mediocre service. Despite informing the staff about my birthday, I didn’t receive any special acknowledgment or a birthday cake, which was quite disappointing for a $200 dinner. Nevertheless, I had a good time, especially with the drinks. A little more attention to special occasions would have made our evening perfect.

This is a really nice restaurant with an amazing view of the ocean and professional friendly atmosphere.
Thanks to Andrew for serving us a delicious meal. I will be back for sure.

Originally went for cocktails then realised they have a menu and ordered a small meal which was delicious. The view is awesome looking over the sea. My cocktails have been the best. Both bar tenders a young lady and man both hardworking, polite, helpful and accomodating.

My husband and I came to this restaurant on July 7, 2023, which was our last night in Ocho Rios. Bad decision…..where do I begin.
The chef was unaccommodating. We ordered 2 appetizers, crab cakes and callaloo dip.
The dip was delicious, however, the toast that it came with was the equivalent of the smallest baguettes you could ever eat, and only 2 came with the dip. They refused to give extra, even upon request. I even offered to pay extra and it was a hard no. The waitress tried, and she brought out 2 round rolls, which weren’t good and did not go with the dip.
Then we tried the crab cakes. My expectations was low, however, we tried anyway. It wasn’t palatable. I sent it back after taking a bite.
The drinks weren’t bad, I ordered a Sex on the Beach and my husband ordered the Jamaican Night.
I was ready to walk out but since we ordered our meals, we decided to tough it out. My husband ordered the curry goat and I ordered the stew fish. The sauce on the snapper tasted like sweet barbecue sauce and the goat was mediocre at best. This isn’t even acceptable at Jamaican restaurants in the states. We took a few bites, asked for the check, and left.
This is my 9th trip to Jamaica and my very first bad experience at a restaurant. I guess there’s a first time for everything.

Went for a Birthday Dinner on July 24. While the ambiance was good as we were seated over looking the ocean and the staff offered good customer service, the food was horrible for the cost. I could not eat my pasta as it was so salty, the others who ordered oxtail and curry goat had the same complaint. The wait time too to get meals was well over a hour and a half. There was also inadequate lighting for those seated out doors dining and the few little candles did not do much. The two good thing we had on the menu was the appetizer wings and chicken salad. Even our drinks was watery and weak. For the customer service and good ambiance and extremely clean environment I would go back ,but the food and drink for those prices quoted in USD I would not recommend.

We ate dinner here 2 times. It really was perfect food for our tastes, we are no gourmets but like honest dishes. We were satisfied. The fishburgers were tasty and made with care, the scotch bonnet cheesecake was the most fantastic dessert we ever tasted. The lady waiting our table was a charming local lady with a very sparkly energy. Coming here is worth it!

We stopped here for lunch and were able to relax and feel at home straight away. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. You can really sit here on the terrace under the blossoming trees with a beautiful view of the sea. We thought the price was OK. We would come back.

Three 12 of us. Beautiful view but that was it. If you can believe it we waited 3 hours for our food. We should have got up and left after an hour. To top it off the food was terrible. We should have not paid. I will be contacting the restaurant for a complete refund. The staff were not able to handle our group.

Outdoor seating right on the water. Side secluded garden walking path right next to it. Had the jerk chicken and crab cakes which were great. No lines to wait in. Friendly staff. This place is a ten! Highly recommended if in Ocho Rios!

This was our least favorite restaurant of all we’ve been to in Ocho Rios.
Perhaps the restaurant was too busy with a wedding; we had poor service, so so food and drink, limited parking.

It was not that great. It took about 3 hours to get our food and after eating it almost everyone I was with felt extremely sick afterwards.

Where do I begin absolutely terrible. The burger had clearly been in the deep freeze for several years. It was white tasteless and rubbery. The red wine had icicles floating in it it was that cold
