Authentic Jamaican Jerk in an open air settings easily accessible in downtown area. The locals love it and it may look simple, but that is the charm, food was excellent!

Walked to this restaurant from Doctor's Cave Beach. Not much to look at from the street, but the food was very good if you want to try authentic Jamaican food. We tried the half pound of jerk chicken and half pound of pork, rice/bean side and plantain. Very tasty! Chicken wasn't too spicy and the pork was spicier. Both are... More

Great authentic experience with either chicken or pork, with rice and peas. We got two dinners plus two beers for $25, and were impressed with quality and quantity. Try their hot sauce, its awesome

My favorite place to eat in Jamaica. Great pork. Two large charcoal grills filled with pork and chicken. Try the festival and bammy.

This place was close to our B&B (Polkerris B&B) so this was our favorite lunch go to place for inexpensive and delicious jerk chicken and sides (sweet potatoes, plantains...). We would pick up take-out food and enjoy it poolside, although you can eat it there if you like. Pork Pit never disappointed. Be sure to tip the guy working the... More

This is a must have if visiting the Hip Strip; go enjoy BBQ and pork!! I passed this place many times but this trip it was highly recommend to try. I went twice and I truly enjoyed every thing; my favorite was the ribs tender and juicy, the sauce is awesome. I'll be having ribs for dinner on my return... More

Had jerk pork and chicken for lunch. Reasonable price and flavourful meat which was moist and tasty. Located on the main strip in Montego Bay so easy to get to.

Went to Pork pit this evening. It's a fast food joint with over average food. Worth trying if you're in the area but nothing going out of your way for. We had ribs, chicken and pork with festival (some kind of fried bread) and rice and beans. Tasty enough but nothing spectacular considering the price level. (Yes I'm aware it's... More

Chicken is fabulous, seasoned throughout, not a dry morsel and full of flavor. 80 % locals, the rest tourists. This is not deluxe dining, but you can't beat the food.

We were able to walk a few blocks from our B&B to get to this restaurant. We liked that it was located up above street level and somewhat of an interesting view. The pork and chicken portions were large and tasty. However, the order taking staff wasn't overly friendly and didn't really explain what to do. We were given our... More
