The pelican was a nice a welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent and the oxtail dinner was out of this world. It's worth getting a taxi to travel there!

In my opinion this is the best upscale dining option in the tourist area of Mo Bay. The menu is a little pricey but the food is excellent and the service is about the best you'll find in the area. If it's a date night then this is probably your best option although I like dining sea side at Pier1... More

After staying in an all inclusive it was good to be able to get out and sit in a friendly not overdressed restaurant. It's casual but relaxed and welcoming and suits my relaxed personality to my husbands usual fine dining experiences. The food was excellent and good portions sizes, the sweets fantastic. My husband and children enjoyed the experience and... More

We had a good experience here when we visited on the 18th August 2015. We were a party of four. My wife and two teenagers. All of us enjoyed the food and the staff were very attentive. I had the pepper pot soup to start off with, the lobster Thermidor and the banana split to finish.

Our first night in Jamaica, we tried the Pelican restaurant. It wasn't the best, just ok. The waitor didn't remember much. We had to keep reminding him of stuff. The food could have been more tastier, I had the sampler, which was jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish. I can make better ackee and saltfish than what was given to me.... More

Food was very good, tasty and portions rather large. The restaurant was nice, very clean and everything seemed to be efficient and perfectly organized. We had the fastest service ever, Paula, our waitress, served us a three course dinner and got the bill paid in less than 60 minutes! Prices were decent and the atmosphere nice & friendly.

The Pelican is a nice sit-down restaurant in Montego Bay. They have a variety of food on their menu. Their wait staff is helpful and friendly.

Price was high quality low but fair taste. Would not go back much better places in the area to eat. Keep looking there are places in the same area. Stay away from the ice in the area.

We ate at the Pelican our first night on the island. The food was ok, but the atmosphere was lacking. It reminded me of an old diner. It needs a facelift. The wait staff was nice, but the service was very slow.

The food was just okay. We had some better jerk and oxtail at other locations in MoBay and the States. We read rave reviews and thought we had to try it. We could have done without. The Pelican Rum Punch was the highlight.Oh and the Shrimp Spring Rolls My cousin was very disappointed with her oxtail and dessert. Her daiquiri... More
