Nice n welcoming. A place with a difference. Reasonable priced food. A wide variety to choose from. Nice place for the single or the couple, friends and neighbors. Their pumpkin soup was the 💣 . Love 💗 love ❤️ it.
I never post reviews but this place needs to get their act together. I payed almost 30 american for 2 coffees, a sandwich, and a muffin. The coffees came out very old tasting and when we asked the staff to fill up our reusable container...she completely ignored us and filled up the throw away mugs saying we could "just pour it in from there"... like hi we're trying to cut down on garbage. The true cherry on the cake was the sandwich I ordered, it came out soggy with nasty lettuce and had 2 incredibly sharp pieces of plastic in it!! So glad I didnt swallow them as this could have resulted in major health issues. I'm sorry to be posting this but I want to save others the trouble and money. So disgusted, do better.More
Visited Cafe Blue while on vacation . Had breakfast here on two separate occasions and each time they delivered. There was a choice of Continental items as well as Jamaica food. We tried both and it was excellent. There was salt fish, bananas, ackees, callaloo,...fried dumpling and stew chicken among other things for those wanting a Jamaican breakfast. The Continental section had your basic pancakes, bacon, ham, French toast, etc. the staff was very pleasant and made great recommendations. They had coconut water which I greatly appreciated. The also sell Blue Mountain coffee. The atmosphere was inviting and entire restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. I recommend this place to get your day started!More
I recently went and ordered croissants, expecting to have croissants, but I was shocked to see what was served as croissants. This is unacceptable and misleading to what croissant should look like. Please get it right for my next visit or let your Baker take...a trip to Paris.More
I fancied a quick hot drink and a bite to eat the other morning. I asked for a fried eggs and bacon on toast and a cup of tea. The serving assistant was sullen and very quietly spoken. I struggled to hear her above all...the other noise from behind the counter in the end I saw her nodding to a basket of tea products above head height on top of an adjacent counter. When I asked if I could have a cup of English Breakfast Tea please, her response was "No!". So instead a chose a coffee and took a seat. The coffee arrived at my table fairly quickly but I would have preferred drink and food at the same time. After a wait of over 45 mins I had still not received my order so I asked at the counter and the assistant (a different one) went away to check. After a further 15 mins I received at my table pancakes and bacon. After I pointed out that this was not what I ordered, the assistant took away my receipt and after a further 10 mins returned with my order. The bacon was ok, the toast was barely toasted and the fried eggs looked like something that had been recently run over in the car park! The butter was rock hard and I was unable to spread it on the "toast".
I ate the bacon and left. At no point was there an apology given,More
Ordered a coffee that took over 20 minutes on a not so busy day. Tolerable enough, but the cashier had an obnoxious attitude and the product was subpar to boot. Only Consolation was the free wifi. You definitely don’t get what you pay for.
