Went to link with a friend who was visiting from overseas. Time was limited and so we all got together at UBTR. The food was good - ox tail was yummy. The seafood combination was OK.
Serving the main meal in little 'Dutch pots' was a nice touch too.
Some of us shared dessert.
Altogether it was a lovely evening

My visit to Usain Bolt's Tracks and Record in Kingston on Friday, January 31st was exceptional. we were greeted and seated without any hassle. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the customer service was great. I enjoyed the jerk chicken spring roll, it is now my new favourite and the pricing was also very affordable. I'm definitely looking forward to another visit.

Usain Bolt is legendary, not only in his home country of Jamaica, but around the globe. So, when visiting the island of Jamaica, you should visit his restaurant (Kingston, Ocho Rios, or Montego Bay). There is a varied menu, think pub food with a Jamaican twist or spice. Not five star worthy, but still very good and cocktails are island favourites!

Concierge looked more bothered by our group instead of welcoming with a smile. We felt rushed. After having our starters and mains, the waitress announced she had to serve our desserts in to go boxes because the area we were sitting in upstairs closed. On our way out, downstairs was fully functioning. Some 30mins were still left for closing time. Felt they wanted us out of there. Very poor service.

I went for my birthday and I wasted my time! Took someone over 10 mins just to get our order, they were out of a lot of food so it wasn't a lot of options, when I asked if they had any Birthday specials, they said they were out of all of their desserts but one. I waited over an hour to get food and by the time I got it the place was closing. When I called for the manager they said they would give us a discount only to find out I was still paying regular price. By that time I had already balled my eyes out and stormed out the door. Will never go back again, wasted my time money and energy and Birthday on this place. Will not recommend.

The service was great. Our server Abitol was excellent she recommended the menus to us and she asked the DJ to play the birthday song for me and I got ice cream. There wasn't much people based on the COVID-19 regulations but it was a great evening.
The food was good, first we got the platter as a starter, then the main course I had the bar-b-cue Jerk Ribs with mashed potatoes and a coleslaw and a virgin daiquiri. My son and my friend had the jerk chicken combo.

Tracks and Records provided a good experience with the spectacle of it being Usain's place, fun atmosphere and good food. The service was below average however, I would have thought the fastest man in the world could deliver jerk chicken a little faster! I can't fault the food too much though, the chicken was delicious and the pasta was simple yet certainly satisfactory. The desserts were also very nice. The atmosphere was great, it felt really upbeat and I also really liked the decor around the place. I also liked the TVs around the restaurant that showed sports. The gift shop was a little overpriced but nothing too extravagant and there was a decent selection of Usain-themed gifts. Overall, what brings most to the restaurant is the simple fact that it is owned by Usain (which is fair enough) and although this fact would make it worth the visit for many, I can say that the restaurant is good and the traditional food on offer really was delicious.

Swims Galore, shared prawn starter they seem to have swapped out a number of prawns with a quesadilla, melted plastic cheese on a lonely prawn in tortilla pocket which was cut in 2, it was inedible.
Since coming here again as I come every year, I have really noticed how down hill it has become, may be they have a Heart Institute trained chef, which would explain it.
The jerk pork was comprised mainly of bits you can't actually chew, the sweet potato was overcooked, dry and powdery, the festival was overfried and scratched the roof of my mouth.
I tried my son's coconut prawn curry and it was way too sweet with crunchy bits like the chef used confectioners desiccated coconut, he couldn't finish it.
It was all a bit disappointing I used to give this 5 stars every year, I suggest they change the current chef and be more generous with the prawns.
I will be back next year to check!
Ps. Turn down the volume of the screens about 10%.

When we started placing the order, the waiter just then told us, that a few items we wanted was not available.
Also the same regarding the drinks- they had no beers on draft, no selection of the local beer at all in different tastes, just the regular one, although the menu mentioned more.
I asked for pork ribs, he took the order, and then 5min later came back saying sorry but they also didn't have the spare ribs. That was the point, when I said bring me whatever then. I had the chicken, which was really something to forget.
Overall experience is very disappointed, we expected a wow feeling, but were wow-ed only from how many items were not available from the menu.

Went to eat here 2 days ago, Was a little underwhelmed by the food. Atmosphere was nice, service excellent our waiter went above and beyond, unfortunately food wasn’t great, we had the appetizer platter to start seemed good didn’t seem fresh reheated, worse off all, all the appetizers were different temperatures on the plate. I was hungry so I ate it but then my entree came out cold to lukewarm with the same problem. Being this is Usain Bolt restaurant chain…. Was a bit disappointed

Just like fast fashion you have these fast restaurants, hyped up start but then they tumble along the way.
This seems to be the same for this restaurant. In the beginning it had all the buzz and media attention but it seemed to have went down hill.
While the place has maintained a pretty decent ambience, the food is basic at best, they had only 1 bartender at the bar and had only 1 of the dessert on the menu.
The food ordered was curry shrimp in a crackpot, which was laughable since the curry was watery and the rice tasted old. Blah! Jamaica carry some of the best food and for a restaurant that bases it’s image off a international celebrity, more needs to be done!
A decent menu can be skillfully constructed, this is not an expensive task but more so a thoughtful one. Please consider the quality of food!
Prices are okay though.
Very disappointing.

Had a late lunch at Usain Bolt's Tracks n Records in Kingston, Jamaica. I really enjoyed a large bowl of soup with crawfish, a bit spicy but certainly delicious. The platter with salt fish fritters, chicken wings, jerk pork, etc was equally delicious. A bit much food for my tummy. The staff was great and space n bathrooms were comfortable. Parking was tight but someone was always about to leave so be patient. A must see while in Kingston.

In August 2021, I visited Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records on a day during the week when the time was not very busy. The waitress was friendly, courteous and consistent in checking in to accommodate my needs. The ambiance of the restaurant was tolerable, the music was entertaining and not too loud. In regards to the food, it took a while to be prepared, hence, I was waiting longer than I expected. I ordered the Alfredo Pasta with Shrimp and did not enjoy it because it was prepared with too much garlic. My overall experience with Usain Bolt's Tracks and Records was a fairly good one, and I would take the chance to revisit.

Good place with huge screen to enjoy your favorite game, variety of liquors, I ordered the Jerk Plate, very good option, will be better but the food comming cold. Prices showed in the menú don't inclusive the tax and service, so you need add 26, 5 % more to your bill, is not cheaper, like everything in Jamaica. I expect more for the restaurant of the one big star like Usain Bolt, but was not bad.

Hotter than the day time on the outside. WEEK AIR CONDITIONING. Toilets, weak pressure- not tidy. -
Table got food 1 & 1/2 hours after ordered. One person's good came at least 30 minutes later than everyone else at our table.
Loud music. Like a club with no dance floor.
Overall disappointment. Leaving soaked to the bone in sweat.
