Collected our hire car from near the airport and made our way to Layla's for lunch prior to travelling to Grand Case Easy off road parking, walked down a little path that opens up into the restaurant, ost of the tables are set among the trees on the beach We sat on a table in the 'front row' overlooking the... My parents, uncle and aunt, and I had wonderful lunches at Layla's this week. Layla's is on our "must-visit" list when we come to the island. The food and drinks are great, but we come for Layla's tranquility--it is addictive. My uncle went there with friends, and his friend remarked that the Layla's effect begins as soon as you step... Wow, a great place away from the busy resorts. Like your own island spot. 2nd visit in 2 years. Go looking for it!

This restaurant gets more of our money than any other place on the island. We eat her more often than any other place. And we savor the laid-back, gear-down atmosphere. We love the two-hour lunches with multiple bottles of French wine, giving us the chance to kick off our shoes and enjoy the sand between our toes. Layla's is the... More

Discovered Layla's 18 years ago when Layla and Pierre planted their beach side forest. Pierre still runs the casual, mostly local clientele restaurant. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, considering you are in St Martin. We love this place for a relaxing, chill afternooon.

I came here on the last day of my vacation to Saint Martin. I had heard good things about the restaurant and wanted to give it a try. When my boyfriend and I walked in, there were two people who were clearly working there who ignored us for several minutes. Finally, I asked one of them if they were open... More

Someone TRAIN this wait staff please with some manners and get rid of that attitude. A tranquil setting to die for- but with attitude that could ill. Rude waitstaff, crappy fried food I could get anywhere. Do yourself a favor Ordere drinks only and enjoy the gorgeous beach and wonderful seating.

We were given menus and waters and then they ignored us for 20 minutes. I lost patience and went up to the bar to order and was told the kitchen is swamped and they would need at leats thirty minutes for any order. I dont think 30 mins is too bad, especially if they would have taken our order when... More

Such a beautiful place. We had great fresh snapper and seabars and a raw beef tartar. So so good! Wine was perfect too. Had a great afternoon. The setting is amazing and the staff is super friendly.

Some of my friends and I visit one day to have a couple of drinks. The beauty of the site is great for nature lovers. It has a great view and well shaded by natural plants. It has great seating and the staff is friendly. We did have some issues with a swarm of bees, but the staff had a... More
