Wow, a great place away from the busy resorts. Like your own island spot. 2nd visit in 2 years. Go looking for it!

Discovered Layla's 18 years ago when Layla and Pierre planted their beach side forest. Pierre still runs the casual, mostly local clientele restaurant. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, considering you are in St Martin. We love this place for a relaxing, chill afternooon.

Such a beautiful place. We had great fresh snapper and seabars and a raw beef tartar. So so good! Wine was perfect too. Had a great afternoon. The setting is amazing and the staff is super friendly.

They were winding down in late April, just as the peak tourist season was coming to an end. By August, I suspect hurricane season will be on everybody's mind. Consider calling ahead.
