The Wok was our second favourite restaurant at Sanctuary Cap Cana. It was located at the edge of the castle and had a lot of outdoor dining table overlooking fountains and gardens. It was delicious food with great service! We had tempura ice cream, fried...rice, steak wok, chicken skewers and spring rolls - so good we had to repeat our meal a second day!More

Super fun restaurant if you get seated at the hibachi table for the show - it's basically like a mini benihana show - fun with a group and the table all gets to know each other which was great.

We ate here on our first night at the resort (Sanctuary). The food was delicious. They also have a Teppanyaki (spelling) area of the restaurant which is similar to a Hibachi grill. We did not do that part of the restaurant, but we heard from...other couples the portions are huge and food was great.More

The food here was my favorite at Sanctiary Cap Cana. You need a reservation for hibachi but the regular menu you can sit without one. The sushi is great! My boyfriend actually never liked sushi until he ate it here! I’ve always loved it. The...chefs were funny and entertaining and the food was delicious. If you are able to visit this restaurant twice I recommend that after you do hibachi you sit outside and order the ribs and of course more sushi!!More

We selected the Wok as our favorite restaurant while staying at the Sanctuary Cap Cana. We actually went three times over a week. My wife and I both enjoy Asian food and the Wok offers a varied and light menu. Over the week we enjoyed...sushi, ramen soup, pork dumplings, the eggplant entrée and a few desserts. All of these were fine and beyond. I personally found their wok stir fries a little heavy handed with the teriyaki sauce but they were still perfectly acceptable. I enjoyed their cloudy sake. Service was excellent and friendly and the restaurant design is charming. We chose tables outside rather than making reservations for the show, as we prefer siting outside.More

The food was average, but the service was far above average. Our Hibachi Chef was fantastic...although it seems I was the only who laughed at his jokes.

We ate at the Wok after a long adventure to Saona Isalnd. We did not have reservations so we sat outside which was wonderful. It took a long time to get our food but I ordered the shrimp and calamari and it was fantastic.

Booked after reading many reviews.. Sushi was pretty good, appetizers were ok as well. The main dish was below average! Way too much soy-sauce for flavor, with just saturated the rice as per others sitting around me. I made a simple request (no onions) 3...different times, and of course the meal was saturated with onions. When exchanged, returned with onions again. Just gave up at that point, enjoyed the hot sake. By the way hope the gentleman Carlos sitting a few seats down is feeling better, His blood pressure went through the roof, began profusely sweating, eye reddening, and headache after asking for low sodium soy and receiving the opposite. The manager was an condescending a-hole, rest of staff really polite... P.S This is a Japanese restaurant, a Mexican Mariachi band does not go with the theme of this restaurant.More

We went to the Wok for the dinner and cooking show. It was fun and the chef made everyone laugh. Sushi was great, Japanese was good too, just not as good as Myabis at home.
