Wonderful food and drink as well as excellent service. The place is was cozy but comfortably fit a party of 15 with other guests as well. We had hummus, tapenade and baba ganoush with pita bread to start and then the next course was a...beautiful charcuterie board with a yummy selection of meats and cheeses. Meanwhile, we were served this delicious white wine and next, we had empanadas with so many choices, I couldn't decide which one I wanted to try first. The owner Hicham was so warm and incredibly knowledgeable about wines. He most certainly made the meal feel like he was inviting you into his home and you experiencing foods from all over the world because Hicham has definitely lived many different places. His kindness and attention to detail made the experience unforgettable. We finished off the night with Tiramisu cake and moved outside to the cute patio area where live music was playing. This is definitely one of those places you have to go to in the Punta Cana area. As someone who always wants to find those unique and memorable places to eat, Bohemian tapas & wine bar is definitely the place to be and you can be sure that I will be back if I am ever so lucky to return to the Dominican Republic.More

This wine and tapas bar is absolutely incredible. Hicham and his staff easily accommodated our group of 15 inside his intimate restaurant. The weather outside was hit and miss showers so we started inside but by the time we were done, our entire group was...enjoying dessert on the patio outside his restaurant with live music overlooking the beautiful marina area. The clientele is an eclectic mix of hotel guests and property owners from the Cap Cana area. The restaurant is open to the public so if you have transportation, are staying in the hotel (Ancor or Airbnb) or can take a short taxi ride to get there, you will not regret it. Our group dined first on an eclectic mix of hummus, babaghanoush, and tapenade served with pita points. Then came a charcuterie board to die for with an incredible selection of meats and cheeses. Also on the board was a homemade spread of honey and goat cheese. it was incredible. Our third course was a variety of homemade empanadas made from scratch. We had a selection of chicken, beef, caprese, and a couple of others that I can;t remember. Our entire group loved them. Finally, we topped it off with slices of Tiramisu cake. Hicham is incredibly knowledgeable about wines and has more than 1000 bottles in his wine cellar. He was sharing with us his new passion for Argintinan and Italian wines but he clearly had something for everyone. By the time we were done, we must have gone throuh 7 or 8 bottles! All in all is was a delightful experience. The service staff were great, Hicham personally touched and spent time at each table, and the food delivery was quick (which really did not matter because we stayed there for almost 3 hours). We are excited to visit again next time we are in Punta Cana.More

We had a quite amazing meal here during our holiday in CapCana. The food was incredibly fresh, presented beautifully and tasted sublime. I would highly recommend the brie and prosciutto which was a favourite of ours. Our waiter, Francisco, couldn't have been kinder and catered...to all our needs wonderfully, at the end he even brought us a free taster of Mamajuana (a well known Dominican Republic drink) which was great to try. Thank you for a wonderful evening!More

Our family of five spent a delightful evening here. The owner is from Morocco and he is a genial and professional host. They do have a full bar as well as an extensive wine list by the glass or bottle. Prices are incredibly modest, especially compared...to any of the hotels in Punta Cana. We enjoyed margaritas and several glasses of wine at the recommendation of the host. The food is excellent. Terrific Moroccan meatballs with peas, excellent cheese board, a fine charcuterie platter, great hummus and baba ganoush, finishing off with succulent grilled lamb chops. What a great evening (we had a table outdoors) and so easy on the wallet. By the way, if you are looking for something different, they own the grill and sports bar adjacent and you can order from their menu which they automatically provide you.More

Our first trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in June of 2019 was great, and spending a couple of hours at Bohemian Wine And Tapas in Cap Cana was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved everything about the food, the wine, the...staff, and the atmosphere. The restaurant is owned and managed by friendly, generous, family-oriented people. It is immediately obvious that they want you to both enjoy and remember the experience, as we definitely will. In fact, I can count on one hand the number of online reviews that I have ever written but this one is well-deserved. After starting with a unique and delicious mojito from Estacion 16, the cool and quaint sports bar and grill next door (we hear their empanadas are fantastic), we walked to Bohemian Wine And Tapas and were treated to a variety of great dishes. These included but were not limited to delicious hummus, tasty lamb chops, terrific shrimp, fresh meats and cheeses, caramelized curry walnuts, toasted breads with wonderful olive tapenade and chimichurri, etc. The goat cheese soaked in local honey was to die for, and we wanted to drizzle it on everything that we ate. We finished off our meal with a multi-layer chocolate dessert that was the perfect ending to a fabulous meal. I’m usually more partial to beer and liquor than wine, but for this meal we enjoyed a high-quality red blend chosen by the restaurant’s manager, Hicham, which was great and complemented everything that we ate. Later we tasted a chilled, crisp white wine which was excellent as well. Again, this is coming from someone who doesn’t typically consume a lot of wine. I left the restaurant actually thinking that perhaps it was finally time to expand my rather unsophisticated alcohol palate and leave behind my 1990’s college keg party days. We will see . . . Hicham’s knowledge of wine and food was extensive, and the way in which he discussed everything in a detailed-yet accessible way was appreciated by your rather amateur reviewer. He was fun and a joy to talk to, and obviously takes great pride in his product and his establishment—-as he should. The restaurant atmosphere is intimate, well-decorated, and comfortable—-there is even a neat bathroom with a cool little door. I mention that because it is consistent with the restaurant’s close attention to every detail. In sum, great care was taken to ensure that every aspect of our meal and experience would be memorable. It was, and hopefully we will someday be back to the D.R. in general, and Bohemian Wine And Tapas in particular. Check this place out, you won’t regret it.More
