I recommend you visit this place. the portions are large. They are very generous and the food is super fresh. Everything seems homemade, with Creole flavor. The service was wonderful and good prices. I highly recommend it.

Good restaurant near playa dorada, their specialty is fish and seafood. Ordered a fish soup to start, but they disnt have it available. Next time i’ll order seafood, this visit had the bistec encebollado ( beef with onions), pechuga ala plancha (chicken breast) and chicharron de pollo ( fried chicken chunks), all came with rice, beans and tostones ( fried plantains). Flavor was good on all plates, large servings, plenty of food, its good dominican style food, will return!

It was the first time I visited this place and it’s decorated as a typical Dominican rancho with wooden tables and tropical trees inside. It is located between Iberostar Hotel and Playa Dorada hotels complex. At walking distance from hotels Staff is very helpful and friendly, we asked for Dominican flag food which is bistec, rice and beans and we also added avocados and fried plantains. The waitress brought us concon free. The Lemonades tasted really fresh and natural and beers comes out really cool from the freezer. In terms of price I think it was considerable. So this place is a good option to try local food.

The Goat in this restaurant with the white rice and fried plantains is by far superior to any other I have had and believe me I have had Goat everywhere in the country. The place does have a few mosquitoes so bring your repellent if you will sit and eat, they have some of the best packaging techniques for To go food especially when you order green fried plantains. The Goat is a little spicy but just a dab.

The best goat, tostones and habichueles in town! If you want to try a really traditional restaurant this is the place to go. Close to Playa Dorada hotels. The beer is super cold! Presedente of course! Don't miss it!

I went there on a business trip to Puerto Plata, had a similar bad experience before but gave it another try anyway, it is really close to the project I was working, so I ordered a red snapper which was not fresh at all, also too much salt for my taste. Awful experience and now I would not give another try.

The food used to be good here a while back. My wife and I recently ate at the restaurant and did not enjoy our meal. We ordered once again figuring it might have been a change of Chefs, once again we did not enjoy our meal. I do not wait for three strikes, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Great food and service! We came for a late lunch (around 3pm) and they were still able to serve us. Really liked the conch (lambì guisado). Clean and had fans which kept the place coolish.

This is a highway stop that you should make of you want to taste local cuisine before or after hitting the beach! Service was excellent. Whatever you asked for you got without hesitation. When we got our entrees portions were plentiful! We were a group of six with a teenager and four adults and there were leftovers to take home for dinner. Some of the fried dishes we found a little bit over cooked but my fish fillet was very tasty and the rice and beans were delicious! There's also a great assortment of natural juices from which I would recommend the cherry juice.

Was staying in Costa Dorado and looking for some local cuisine. You wouldn't really notice this restaurant from the road. There is a sign out front and you walk down a set of stair to get into the restaurant. They had seafood, pork, chicken, etc. The portion sized were very large. The food was a great taste of the DR. I had a crab dish. It arrived with a plate full of tons of crab meat. More that I have ever expected. It was a chilled dish with a vinagarette dressing and diced tomatoes, peppers, celery, onion It came with a big side of rice and beans. My husband ordered the port pieces. They were flavored very well. We are planning to go back before we leave!
