I had heard this restaurant was good-bye and the reviews seem to confirm it. I just did not HOW good it really was. Out of this world. I'm eating my salad, hoping it truly never ends. My SALAD. Ok?

2nd visit to Santo Domingo. Went straight back to Pura Tasca because the food was great last visit (2015). Had seafood paella and sangria. Very helpful staff especially Jacques: my card wouldn't work at the ATM, so I ordered, and before they prepared the food, he put the payment through, just in case! It all worked well. Went back last... More

They have a simple but effective tapas menu. Sit out on the terrace and get a number of dishes to share, a decent bottle of wine and enjoy. The lamb stew with humus and flat breads was out of this world

I had a late lunch here on a Friday afternoon because I had read the food was good and the outdoor seating was nice to sit and people-watch. Service was excellent. If you go, make sure you slip some food to the kittens.

We had breakfast here Coffee was very good Spanish Omelet was very good Toast was cold Little slow on service The area out in front of the establishment is very dirty with locals just lingering in the park benches. Overall one of the better places we tried.

Their food is not good, have gone SEVERAL times and found 2 decent appetizers. To my surprised went yesterday and threw up. Everthing was terrible, including the recommended margarita by the waiter. The only thing good is their sangrias, their service is the worst humanly possible.

This is a very nice spot to see the night fall while zipping sangrias. Their food is exotic and tasty. Their service is excellent. One of my favorite places at La Zona Colonial of Santo Domingo

With beautiful view of the castle and next to the famous Pata de palo restaurant. Spanish style dishes tortilla and croquets are my personal favourites.
