Good local food with plenty of options. Reasonably priced. Beer was chilled almost to perfection. Leisurely pace which I enjoyed and friendly service.

Right behind the Renaissance hotel so we thought we'd give it a try and were very glad we did. The outdoor eating area is covered, elevated, has freshly laundered white table cloths and looks out over the street which makes for great people watching. The service was excellent both nights we went there (3 waiters for about 14 tables) and... More

This is a little restaurant with tasty food and decent prices. They offer meat and seafood dishes. The covered area is comfortable (air conditioner, not too hard chairs) and clean. The staff service is good. It provides a quiet corner to relax and enjoy food. However, the cafeteria side is quite noisy because of the transit (public transportation mostly). I... More

It was me and my 2 young kids, they told us to go inside, did not offer for us to sit outside. We sat ourselves at a table, 5 minutes later we asked for a menu, 20 minutes later ordered food and another 25 minutes later our food arrived. And we had to keep waving them down for every next... More

This place is quite hidden and this is a surprise considering it is behind the newly renovated Renaissance Jaragua. They have great outdoor seating, but the road may be busy during the day. The portions are amazing and the steal I ordered was perfect! I loved the service; if you have read my posts you'll know I'm about the experience... More

Almost more food than you can eat. Excellent service and dined for 2 hours I had Roast Lamb and my girlfriend had a large steak. Great portions. Could of had Sweet Figs for dessert (shades of California). Was too full. Will go back some day for the Figs, delicious Dominican Coffee and a soup for lunch on the veranda.

I went twice. My first meal was the grilled chicken in garlic sauce, very good, with 2 glasses of wine. Huge portions. $20 My second was a hamburger. It was cooked as I ordered but took a very long time and really the burger quality wasn't all that great. $20 with 3 glasses of wine ($6 for the burger).

This use to one of my late night places to eat. The menu have a wide variety of food dishes and it located right behind the hotel Jaragua and it’s not too expensive.
