Lovely local food served with a stunning view over the coast. The lunch (USD10) was a big plate of BBQ chicken/pork with a number of local sides. All very tasty!

As mentioned in the previous reviews, the view is just amazing. Even if you don’t want to eat, just come for a drink. The menu was limited and was told to us by the waitress (nothing in writing) so we didn’t know the prices until...we paid. The options today was chicken stew, smoked chicken (we had and was delicious), fish (we had - was nicely spiced but a bit bony) and pork. The meals came with a nice selection of sides and no fries (great!!). Each meal was 25 ecd. The food came quickly, tasted local and fresh and the service was friendly. They have smokehouse right next to the restaurant. Rum selection is impressive.More

Our taxi driver stopped here to show us the view as we were on our way to the airport. It was gorgeous. We took a few photos and were about to head out when who, I assume was the owner, asked if we’d like any...rum. We were very short on cash (as we were at the end of our trip) and were only making purchases at places and let him know that. He said he would give us a sample anyways and to pick a flavor. We asked for the “pear” and he proceeded to tell the bartender to pour up the “avocado” We didn’t think much of it at first. We both took a drink of it and it was almost unbearable to keep down. I have never smelled or tasted something so terrible before (think pure gasoline), and I have had my share of shots of strong alcohols such as Everclear. I brought the rest with me but ended up tossing it at the airport. I almost got sick just having the smell lingering in the taxi. We then started wondering why we were not given a sample of the flavor we had actually asked for. Perhaps the avocado was one of the stronger ones and maybe some other flavors are better, but after that experience I most likely wouldn’t dare to even try any others.More

We were there in late April 2018. We had eaten here 4 years earlier, and it was great. Not so this time. When we arrived, there was the lady operating the place and no one eating. There were however 3 men (seemed to be local)...hanging out and drinking. Note this was the only place we could find open due to lingering hurricane conditions.so dining choices were limited. We sat, ordered, and ate. Food was very average, but view across water was great. No prices were listed anywhere but we thought charges would be reasonable. Our bill was 94 EC which was high but within reason (~$35 which is more what you would pay for dinner somewhere...lunches are normally half this amount). Unfortunately, I only had 80 EC. I said I would have to pay in dollars. She said in that case, it would be $60! The 3 men who were there stared. We felt we had to pay it. Who could you call to intervene. No one. As we left, they talked in their native language and laughed, adding insult to injury. The people of Dominica are great, but not at the Islet View Inn. I do not know if the lady there was the owner or a rogue employee.More

We came here for lunch and were treated to amazing views of Castle Bruce. We all had the fish that was quite good and accompanied with lots of provisions. They threw a sample of infused rum before lunch. Staff was friendly and service pretty quick....Well worth the drive.More

We were told about this place because of the rum. However, we had no idea that the views were going to be so breathtaking! There are about 4 rows of "bush rum" behind the bar. Basically, if an herb can fit inside a rum bottle,...it has been. They have all different flavors. I recommend trying a few (if you aren't driving).More

If you are driving through the Kalibishe territory this is the place to stop at the south. Don't miss it. Look for the bamboo fence and small circular sign.

The food and the view fight each other for first place. We stopped here for a light lunch and had heard that the portions can be generous, so we asked for a shared plate. This turned out well for us. Starter of plantain chips, followed...by fish with a wide variety of vegetables and provisions, finishing with a plate of fruit and cake. Washed down with delicious fruit juice.More
