We have come almost every weekend since arriving on the island. The staff is friendly and Roger, the owner, has some interesting stories. The lobster and muscles are some of the best on the island. The view is fantastic and we have even had some...iguanas visit while sitting outside. We will continue to visit this spot forever!!More

Me and my friends were there for twice, first one was good but the second one was disaster. We don’t have problem with the food but we do have problem and issue with the service team and the owner( which is too much bothering guest)...which is they were underestimated us and point of view of them to us(me n my other friend) was negative, when we were ask them to put take away for our food and she just gave an empty box rudely and after she packed it not well like she gonna gave those food to animals. And my friend was request for small cake for surprise birthday cake but instead of surprise cake they just put small fireworks on my friends dessert(which is she paid ) So for sure they are not really good in hospitality. We all were so disappointed.More

We were sold on the lobsters for dinner but when we arrived we got way more than that; beautiful sunset, cozy setup, very nice and friendly people on top of delicious food and seriously good cocktails! Just to emphasize how much we enjoyed it despite...driving about 25-30 minutes each way from Picard/Portsmouth each time; after first dinner we returned the next morning for breakfast and that same day return one more time for another outstanding dinner! We are never shy to try other places, which we did as you can check in my other reviews, but we mutually agreed with my better half that dining at Lobster Palace was amongst our favorite while in Dominica! The lobster portions are verryyyy generous! The funny thing is when we ordered the first day I was a little bit let down when we were brought the "first plates" of our mains and thought to myself; oh well people must have exaggerated as always... but then she brought "the second plates" - just so we are clear, I am still referring to our mains and not another round of main dishes!!! This is a lobster paradise as the name implies; the food OMG I am drooling as I recall it... :) The breakfasts were are very pleasant, nice coca tea and good coffee. The other things we ordered for dinner were desert; I must commend Lobster Palace for one of the best deserts in Caribbeans as well! The cocktails were superb - real deal! Also an after dinner shots; first day of in house made Passion Fruit? Rum and second day of El Dorado were a classy touch! Don't get overwhelmed by the very extensive menu - it's probably the biggest ever! Most likely you will for the lobster either way:P though next time we come back we will try more dishes as every single thing we ate was delicious! The service was super friendly and the Mr Belgium as a super cool guy too :) thanks for having us! TIP: when you drive on the main road from north you can't really see the sign that well so just slow down on the last curve not to miss it; you get off the main road and go down through a "private" paved road to arrive at the big parking lot right above the beachMore

I went here second time to try lobster as we did not during our first visit, so tried and it was really good. The service is very good, mainly because the owner is there and makes sure you are well taken care of.

I would go to Keepin' It Real or Madiba, among others, before Lobster Palace, but it's beautiful for sunset and the lobsters are very solid.

A great little spot with excellent mussels and lobster dishes. A decent beach for a swim afterwards as well.

The Lobster Palace serves mostly seafood dishes, happy that you enjoyed it. The area is excellent for swimming and snorkeling.

I have visited Sunset Bay club several times and on a few occassions was disappointed that their famous lobster was not available. However, when you do get a lobster meal you have a feast before you to enjoy. Great food and great staff. The proprietor...usually visits your table to say hi and you can take pics with them too.More

This club has rooms for hire and is in a very nice secluded location with a private beach however, the beach is not as nice since Hurricane Maria. This was my favorite eating place for lobster but this year I was disappointed. The lobsters are...very small the potions have been reduced the food was cold and the unfriendly service was not great. They were not quick to respond in taking orders and the treatment towards local people seems worse. The owner is very nice and often gives you a complimentary drink after your meal if he is around.More

The restaurant opens daily from 7:30 am - 9:00 pm, Fridays & Saturdays until 10:00 pm. Sorry for the late response; following the passage of hurricane Maria we are left with very limited access to internet.
