Highly recommend this place if you are looking to try good local food. I tried the stewed goat and Tutu (cornmeal, black eye peas, butter and sugar). Both dishes were very delicious. I didn't have to wait long for my food. I will definitely eat here again.

While on an eight-day vacation in beautiful Curacao, we will able to dine at Komedor Krioyo three times! The authentic local quisine was excellent, the service was prompt and friendly, and the setting in a former plantation house was so interesting. The owners Daisy, Mite, and Rudwin were greeting and serving customers with genuine concern. We are looking forward to... More

Nice little place to stop for lunch or dinner. I tried the stewed goat and it was just incredible!! in fact my husband told me that if I could ever make a gravy that rich and delicious, he would love my stew. I am not usually so adventurous, but glad I tried something new.

we got there around 2 pm. Waited over an hour for food. My husband ordered soup and couldn't understand the long wait as the soup should already be prepared. Food finally came out and they gave me someone else's dish- fried fish with french fries instead of chicken with rice. The final insult was the chicken was three little chicken... More

We just had lunch at landhuis 'doktor's tuintje'. Really, really good. Being a Sunday the place was packed. The food was worth waiting for. It was a long time a go we had such a tasty snapper. Super!

The house and location of the restaurant deserves a visit, and the service is outstanding and above the average. Local food taste is great in a natural and traditional environment kabrito is a must, funchi, tutu and other choices, let the kind waitresses assist you. We went the hole family and the kindness and patience with the kids was great.... More

We were in town from Westpunt and looking for a place for lunch. Landhuis Dokterstuin is a spacious restaurant, with space for groups of varying sizes. The buzz was that this restaurant specialized in local food, and the menu bore this claim out. Our trio settled on yambo (an okra stew accompanied by polenta) and kabaron (sautéed prawns which we... Had lunch at this place. They mainly serve local cuisine. We all took a beef stew which was delicious same for the fresh juices. Food is cheap and large portions. Staff is friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Don't expect anything fancy.

We stopped here with Irie tours as we were on the beach hopping tour. The place was packed on Sunday. You can tell this is a popular local spot. Thank goodness we were with a group and had a private room. Thank goodness our bus driver helped with the order or we would have been there all day. The service... More
