The food in general is tasty. We wanted to go there on Sunday but it was completely full so I’d advise making a booking if you’re planning to go during the weekend. The staff were super polite, friendly and fast. However, the man who I suppose was the owner seemed a bit too bossy checking on the waitresses all the time. He even asked one of them to the side to tell her off for something she did wrong with our table I suppose. In general he made me feel uncomfortable. Food was tasty. Shrimp cocktail for starters (a bit too much vinegar), then beef and pork steaks (both very tasty) and 2 pastas (mushroom and spaghetti with shrimps I believe) - everything tasted good. My steak had a side of mixed rice - this was actually my absolute favourite of the evening with me not really being a fan of rice. The seating area is very ambient and lovely.

We had a great dinner at Rozendales and loved the ambiance of the all-outdoor location, which benefits from a welcomed breeze. They do not accept reservations, though we had no problem being seated when we arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday (a relief considering that many nearby restaurants are closed on Sunday). We started with the sticky rice with pulled chicken and peanut sauce, which was delicious, and one other appetizer that I am forgetting but have no doubt it was good 😉. We got the Steak Au Poivre and Caesar Pasta for dinner, which were both excellent and cooked perfectly. There was a great selection of coffee drinks and sweets for dessert (apple crumble and brownie we great!). We would have eaten at Rozendales again if we were on Curacao for longer – highly recommend.

After a very early morning start and a long day of travel, just wanted a good meal close to my hotel and Rozendaels didn't disappoint. The appetizer (shrimp), main (salmon) and dessert (apple crumb, especially the vanilla ice cream) were all amazing and I grew more tired by the minute watching the wait staff hustle to and from the kitchen with the orders. There are only 2 of them plus the owner who definitely does his share and they all do their job with a smile and are beyond pleasant. Adorable little courtyard, but I would recommend making a reservation as the night I was there all the tables were filled and they definitely don't rush your courses.

I chose this restaurant based on the good reviews. The outdoor decor was inviting and the atmosphere was just what you wanted in an authentic Caribbean dining experience. The Apple Crumble dessert was what brought me and the family to this place which is off the beaten path. But long story short, after our appetizers arrived the wait for our main course was unusually long and it wasn’t until I saw patrons seated after us getting their dessert and leaving did I call our waitress to ask if there was a problem. She seemed genuinely confused and ran to check on our order. They claimed that there was some sort of mix up in the kitchen and so the food was then expedited and rushed out to us. What came to the table almost 2 hours after we arrived was bland, luke warm and seemed unfinished. Not the elevated dishes you’d expect from a restaurant that boasts a fine dining experience. The Beef Tenderloin, Fried Rice and Catch of the Day were all extremely disappointing. I’d like to think that it was because the food was hurried after they realized their mistake but the damage was done. The evening ruined because the entire experience was far below my expectations. I wouldn’t know how the Apple Crumble tastes because all I wanted to do was pay the check and leave. I appreciate the effort of the manager to make amends by sending a complimentary glass of wine and a glass of lemon juice for my son but on many levels I left Rozendaels with a bad taste in my mouth.

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Curacao, choosing to go back on our last night because we enjoyed it so much. The atmosphere on the terrace was great. The service was absolutely first class and the food tasty, without being pretentious. The main building is Art Deco, only built relatively late for such a style in the 1940s. For main courses we tried tuna steak, large prawns cooking in a creamy sauce and mixed snapper and shrimp. First courses included raw tuna, prawns grilled with garlic and pulled chicken wrapped in sticky rise. Unlike many of the nearby restaurants they don't overcharge for their wine, so I felt the meal offer good value for money.

We visited this restaurant once during our trip to Curacao. Food and service were in our opinion average, for this price category restaurant. The menu did not have any theme, but rather a mix of different cuisines without anything in particular special.

in our 3 week vacation we went to Roezendaels 5 times, that kinda says it all. Service was very friendly and fast, the food is oustanding, the menu is not too big but has something for every taste. We especially liked the 'authentic cuisine', but the tenderloin and really everything else was fabulous, too. The owner is a true original, very friendly, funny, attentive and curteous, as was the entire staff. Never had a problem getting a table, either because they keep plenty tables free for walk ins, where at most other spots a reservation was needed. The prices are very fair in comparison to other places like this. Would definitely recommend it!

We have been coming here for 8 years now and it never disappoints. To start, the atmosphere is so lovely and romantic. The staff goes above and beyond to assist with your food selection and the owner is wonderful. The food gives such a nice mix of local choices to steak and fish. The stoba with a side of rice is my husband's favorite. It is a definite must if you visit Curaçao. You won't be disappointed.

As a regular, I knew what to order. The delivery was on time and everything went well. It appears that it is difficult (because other deliveries failed here too) to deliver a nice piece of meat. Well, the dish was well prepared. It came in eco friendly boxes. Nothing special. Price was okay. Next time, I'll eat there instead of ordering.

had an excellent meal there with two colleagues with very different tastes. everyone was satisfied and ate different things. Menu had a good variety of traditional dishes along with many uniquely Curacaoan items. Service was excellent.

This was our second visit to this restaurant over the course of a year and it didn’t disappoint. The ambience is perfection. Beautifully situated in a quiet area with beautiful palm trees, table settings, lights over the patio etc. You can tell the owners and team members are very proud of their restaurant - and they should be. The signature cocktails are fantastic, tasty and left us craving more. They are priced right and we ordered several. The main entrees were tasty. Two of us had the catch of the day which was great and other, had the duck which was slightly over cooked. The potion sizing was perfect. We also enjoyed some desserts and coffee. The desserts took about 45 minutes to arrive, which was quite long, and our coffees were finished by the time they came. This was a little disappointing. The desserts did not disappoint - especially the Cheese plate - definitely recommend it. Service was top notch and I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a special evening. It was great!

Honestly, we weren’t planning to stop by here this evening but were turned away for not having reservations at the restaurant that we were aiming for. We are very happy that we stumbled in here! Service: staff was literally running with every order (in and out). They made multiple touch points bit in a very non-intrusive way Food: starters are good but mains and deserts are even better. We had KESHI YENA (never came across it before) - simply amazing AND tenderloin was just right. Ambience: perfect cozy place with a great atmosphere where the owner makes rounds and thanks for the patronage. Really liked it, may stop by here again before we leave. Compliments to the chef!

We come from Vermont , USA - a place where farm to table food is expected even at your coffee place . This place rivals any meal we’ve had at home. Ingredients were fresh and local , the tastes were bright and harmonized beautifully . The staff was warm and attentive and sitting outside surrounded by trees on a warm evening can’t get much better . I only wish we’d eaten here our first night - we would have come back as often as possible .

We dined here twice during our 14 days holiday in Curacao The first night my husband had an excellent tournedo but my dish of Karni Stoba was dry and chewy ( taai) The second night as we ordered dessert I didn’t have a napkin nor a spoon when the dessert came on the table. The owner attended the serving girl on the spoon. She came back with a long spoon in her hand, no napkin ( you would expect a small plate with a new napkin and a spoon on top being placed next to you) she said HERE ( hier) very loudly and chunked the spoon on my plate on top of the dessert. The same girl was bumping into peoples chairs the whole evening, squeezing between customers and plants. We were too astonished to react and it probably is not worth the effort anymore. Voices in Curacao are whispering that the current owner is going to stop and new owners are going to take over. In the last few years I found that Roozendaels had well trained waiters but that ara is over and it is sad to see that your dining experience depends on the day of the week and is not consistent any more

Very good wait staff; friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. Food disappointing. I had the rib eye steak which was cool , but the accompanying sauce and vegetables were cold which spoiled the entire meal. My husband had the salmon which he liked. He had apple crumble for dessert which he said was ok but my flan was hard and rubbery- I love flan so it was very disappointing. The owner also didn’t wear a Covid mask which was also upsetting. The staff however did.
