As we are entering our 15 year we moved to an new location just two buildings down the street. It 's a architectural art deco building out of this world. Rozendaels restaurant is an romantic outdoor garden bistro. Sitting under the palm trees and stars in the Caribbean. Almost to good to be true.
in our 3 week vacation we went to Roezendaels 5 times, that kinda says it all. Service was very friendly and fast, the food is oustanding, the menu is not too big but has something for every taste. We especially liked the 'authentic cuisine', but...the tenderloin and really everything else was fabulous, too. The owner is a true original, very friendly, funny, attentive and curteous, as was the entire staff. Never had a problem getting a table, either because they keep plenty tables free for walk ins, where at most other spots a reservation was needed. The prices are very fair in comparison to other places like this. Would definitely recommend it!More
We ate here twice on our recent trip to Curacao, choosing to go back on our last night because we enjoyed it so much.
The atmosphere on the terrace was great. The service was absolutely first class and the food tasty, without being pretentious. The...main building is Art Deco, only built relatively late for such a style in the 1940s.
For main courses we tried tuna steak, large prawns cooking in a creamy sauce and mixed snapper and shrimp. First courses included raw tuna, prawns grilled with garlic and pulled chicken wrapped in sticky rise. Unlike many of the nearby restaurants they don't overcharge for their wine, so I felt the meal offer good value for money.More
We had a great evening at this very beautiful restaurant. A reservation by whatsapp worked well. Quick and friendly. A warm welcome upon arrival. Nice table with view into the artful open air area. The location of the restaurant is so nice. Elegant and relaxing...at the same time. Cosy lights under each palm tree. Nice music. Impressive was the professional and friendly service. The nice waitress really knew what she is doing. Knowledge about wine and beer.
Had the TUNA CRUDO and PAN CON AJO (fresh baked bread) as starter and GAMBAS AL PIL PIL + REEF & BEEF as main course.
It was simply WOW! Soooo delicious.
All together in the top 5 of restaurants we’ve ever been to. BE SURE: We come back again!More
The fast service, with the excellent attention makes this place unique, the quality and taste of the food OMG, the prompt and friendly attention of its staff. I recommend everyone to have the pleasant surprise of enjoying this wonderful restaurant.
We went to this gem of a restaurant as a family of 5 and was pleasantly surprised that everyone found something they loved. The atmosphere on the terrace is beautiful. The service was great and our meal came quickly. A great place to eat when...you are in Curacao.More
Dined twice at Rozendaels in the span of about a week. The dining setting is comfortable. A cozy outdoor seating area makes for a pleasant ambiance. The menu is on the larger side, which could use some trimming. The food is good. Nothing that will...blow your socks off. But good! Cocktails were nice and strong. Nice owner and good waitstaff also.More
After a very early morning start and a long day of travel, just wanted a good meal close to my hotel and Rozendaels didn't disappoint. The appetizer (shrimp), main (salmon) and dessert (apple crumb, especially the vanilla ice cream) were all amazing and I grew...more tired by the minute watching the wait staff hustle to and from the kitchen with the orders. There are only 2 of them plus the owner who definitely does his share and they all do their job with a smile and are beyond pleasant.
Adorable little courtyard, but I would recommend making a reservation as the night I was there all the tables were filled and they definitely don't rush your courses.More
Honestly, we weren’t planning to stop by here this evening but were turned away for not having reservations at the restaurant that we were aiming for.
We are very happy that we stumbled in here!
Service: staff was literally running with every order (in and...out). They made multiple touch points bit in a very non-intrusive way
Food: starters are good but mains and deserts are even better. We had KESHI YENA (never came across it before) - simply amazing AND tenderloin was just right.
Ambience: perfect cozy place with a great atmosphere where the owner makes rounds and thanks for the patronage.
Really liked it, may stop by here again before we leave.
Compliments to the chef!More
Very good wait staff; friendly and knowledgeable and efficient. Food disappointing. I had the rib eye steak which was cool , but the accompanying sauce and vegetables were cold which spoiled the entire meal. My husband had the salmon which he liked. He had apple...crumble for dessert which he said was ok but my flan was hard and rubbery- I love flan so it was very disappointing. The owner also didn’t wear a Covid mask which was also upsetting. The staff however did.More
