Don't avoid this place because I mention slow service. Maybe they were taking time to make the meal just right. I may go there again before I leave Curacao. It was reasonably priced too. FYI, they don't have Steak Teriyaki, but they have Korean Steak.

We stopped here on the way back to the cruise ship. Service was a bit slow, especially after asking for the bill. We only had drinks but they have a very extensive sushi menu, so I suppose this is the place to go if you fancy sushi:) I was over the moon with the "Cassis" they sell as I can't... More

I had sushi ! Sushi is not bad but the service was not good at all, they didn't have a bathroom and took long to bring the food and waiter forgot the order and the even charge the mayonnaise.

Two colleagues and I went to Ema-Tei for lunch since it is just a short walk away from our office. We were a bit... concerned at first, since Ema-Tei isn't exactly on the cheap side. But upon arrival Jeff (who was a fantastic server btw) informed us of the lunch specials, which included several bento lunch boxes for only 22... More

We eat sushi all over the world, this was mediocre at best. Brought concerns to the management/owner she played the " I do not understand English card" and did nothing but patronize us. Please save your $$ go elsewhere. Spicy tuna roll/ Usaf ally extremely safe choice (we use as measurement) very basic- not spicy! Asked for more spice received... More

I went to ema tei last week for a business lunch. All of us decided to try their lunch bento specials. I had the teriyaki chicken and my colleagues had the korean steak. Man... it was so good. Service was quite nice too! Greeted upon entry, seated and drinks brought right away. Food was fresh and satisfying. It was lovely,... More

Went ther for dinner with my family and friends. They served excellent Japanese cusine. I highly recomend the pork gyoza , futomaki and ema tei roll.
