Me and my wife visited El Gaucho a nice evening and where we was met with great hospitality and excellent service and not forgot the food that was of high standard and quality. We highly recommend all Curaçao visitors to pay El Gaucho a visit for a good meal in a nice atmosphere. With kind regards Rolf Herheim

They had a really good tenderlion but the dessert plate was the treat. They were French desserts and all were delicious. Considering the normal slow service in Curacao, they were pretty on the spot.

This is a really nice and busy restaurant with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Food was of good quality and the staff attentive and friendly. The only thing that spoilt it was that the fish was not filleted. I know some people prefer this but it made it a bit messy as the head, tail and all the bones... More

Being the "great planner" that I am, we decided to head hear for dinner after a long day of playing in paradise. As we are pulling into the parking lot my wife suddenly remembers that it is Valentines day. We figure we just wasted a half hour drive, there's no way we are getting a table. It was about 6... Really fantastic place, especially for steaks. The views just make the evening. There were eight in our party and every meal was superb.

Our first night on the island and we happened upon this restaurant just in time for cocktails at sunset. They have a wonderful outside deck for dining. At first we thought we would just have drinks and perhaps an appetizer but we ended up staying for dinner. Between the four of us dinner consisted of the filet steak, Churrasco, Rack... More

Most tender steak I have ever ever had. I had the 'surf/turf' combo but they call it something else. Stray cats running around the restaurant (just a warning to the allergic). Excellent service and very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Could have done without the mosquitoes.

We had eaten at the El Gaucho in Piscadera and my wife enjoyed the ribs so much that she wanted to go back. So we were very happy to find another El Gaucho that was closer to where we were staying. In retrospect I wish that we had driven back to Piscadera. Our waitress killed the mood for us right... More

The evening started out with our waitress flashing a big beautiful welcoming smile. We knew we had arrived at a good spot. The four of us each had different types of steaks. (Mine was a bit cool to be honest) I tried the fried yuka as a side dish. It was tasty. They have a nice wine list and some... More
