The service was impressive here in terms of promptness and attention. We felt like there may have been some confusion with 2 of our orders. The pumpkin soup order came out a sopi kref (bisque) and the spicy ribs order seemed to be sweet instead....The doubles were very tasty. The mahi entree was just okay for flavor but was a good portion. Ribs were good but not spicy at all. Enjoyed the lady C drink immensely. The menu was chock full of things we thought we might want to try.More

Whenever we travel, we always look for fine dining establishments but more importantly, we seek out unique culinary experiences. We certainly found it in Tabooshh! It's unlike any other restaurant i've been to (and i've eaten my way through my fair share...). They see themselves...as "a melting pot of Caribbean dishes with a different twist". I feel comfortable enough saying leave it at that, make your reservation. go hungry and in a sociable mood and you won't be disappointed. Martin was the perfect host, the mixologist (whose name i didn't get) was personable and fun, and all the waitstaff are friendly and chatty. Plus, the atmosphere was gorgeous. I'll absolutely be back next time i'm in Curaçao. And the name didn't make sense - until it did!More

I loved the dishes on the menu. We had the sate, bara, tuna and the kabritu. They even had very spicy sambal. Kabritu was a bit dry, but still tasteful. Will definetly go there on my next visit.

I was really excited to try Tabooshh after checking out the menu before our trip. We went to Curaçao for 8 days for our anniversary and I had planned on dinner at Tabooshh on the day of. Our anniversary was on a Wednesday and I...had read you didn't usually need reservations during the week. But I didn't realize until the day of that they were closed on Wednesdays. I was kind of bummed, but I had also considered another restaurant while researching options and we were able to get reservations there, which turned out to be the best dinner we had in Curaçao, and probably the best dinner we've had on any of our 9 anniversaries. But back to Tabooshh. We went a few days later for dinner and some cocktails. We tried several of their cocktails, which were fairly strong and tasted ok, but none were really anything really impressive. The staff was very friendly, we really did appreciate that, but service was definitely on island time. Our typical experience in Curaçao was the staff would be very attentive until your food arrived and then you would never see them again until you waved them down or went to get them to get your check. It was a strange phenomenon. Tabooshh was the exception. They were all very friendly, but it was definitely the slowest service we had our entire trip. There was a couple of dishes I'd seen on their menu prior to our trip and I was dying to try them. We ordered several appetizers we wanted to try, the Konoflo di Forau, Mojito Shrimp, and the Buni ta Carpaccio. With so many appetizers we decided we would share the combo since it had all the dishes I wanted to try. The one I was most excited about was the Kabarone Diabolika. But I was also excited for the Stobas because we'd had it several times on the island and loved it. It's very similar to one of my favorite Filipino dishes, Caldereta, especially the goat. And of course I was very excited about the Koko Man! Go rum! and Keshi Yena. All sounded delicious. Almost everything was good, the Mojito shrimp and Konoflo were very good. The Kabarone Diabolika was really good, and no joke spicy. I love heat, but I was glad I got it on the sampler, I don't know if my reflux would have handled a full entree of it! I thought the Keshi Yena was ok but wasn't as good as I it sounded and my wife didn't like it at all, the Koko Man was good but my wife isn't a fan of coconut and only had a bite. The goat stoba was quite a disappointment. We'd had it several times and it was a favorite dish. Neither of us liked it and we barely touched it. The beef stoba was ok, but not nearly as good as the goat we'd had elsewhere. Overall the food was good to excellent with the exception of the goat stoba and the drinks were ok, but the service, while not bad, was hands down the slowest we experienced on the island. Extremely friendly and welcoming, though. And ultimately, for the cost of the dinner, it ended up being the second most expensive meal we had the entire trip, and with how amazing the food was nearly everywhere else we ate (we only had one BAD meal), this ended up being our second least favorite place. Again, a lot of the food was delicious, but we'd had much better food for much less with much better experience overall. So it is all relative, maybe if we had gone here first before experiencing so many other places that blew us away I might not have felt it was so disappointing.More

Great location on a lagoon. Service is good and the food is great. Looking for a place to have dinner with a good friend we decided on Taboosh as it is located close to where he lives and he had never been there before. We...did not have a reservation but they were extremely nice and got us a great spot. The traffic from town in the direction of the restaurant from 17:00 to 19:00 is bad and you should take that into account.More

The staff was lovely. They were super kind and had good recommendations on food. They came to check on us regularly and we had a good laugh. They have a wide variety of Caribbean dishes. The starters and sides that were recommended were tasty, albeit...some spicy. The garlic butter that came with the bread was heavenly. Couldn't get enough of that. As main course we shared the Tabooshh platter, that one had so many tasty dishes. I was so full, but couldn't stop eating because it all tasted so nice. All with all a great experience, sitting close to the water and enjoying local foods. A 'hidden gem' would be the right word, especially if you know the entrance is a bit hard to find. Thanks Tabooshh team for the great evening!More

1 is a required gift for this site, but Tabooshh has got to be my worst dining experience EVER. Service: We were a table of 11 with a reservation, immediate drink order, took an hour for our round of water to arrive, but they couldn't...count to 11. Then XOXO kincorrect/missing drinks. A cold bottle of Malbec was returned (never had and never want chilled Malbec). 2 espresso martinis ordered, but 1 delivered; we gave up after 2 attempts at getting the second one to taste a little like the first one. Server simply left the restaurant during our service, didn't even tell us, never returned. Food: Delivered to the incorrect diner, no surprise there after the drink fiasco! 3 overcooked, old lobsters were delivered. The tail meat was good, but dirty black juices came from the legs. The absolute worst part was that they made us feel like we were interrupting their day! Do yourself a favor and stay away. Every other place has been perfect, and we will add those reviews shortly.More

Good Caribbean food with Curaçao flavors touches. The plantain soup was delicious as the same of the curry goat ( just too spicy lol), The ceviche was really fresh , the tenderloin with sauce of port, tamarind and pepper corn was one of my favorite...dishes. Totally recommend the flan with Malibu. The service was outstanding, the two ladies were really cordial and attentive. The restaurant is outdoor, very nice ambiance and decor.More

My wife of three weeks and I were joined by 20 of our bridal party guests, for a truly epic dinner at Taboosh. Martin, the owner, was exceptional from the start when we entered as friends, to the end, when we left like we were...family. We all came hungry and the menu was stacked with numerous options for everyone. The even catered specifically to some guests gluten-free diets, which turned out to be no problem at all for Martin's jovial staff. Due to the amount of people we had the entire deck space on the marina, which offered a spectacular setting for the awesome eats, tons of great drinks, and all of our memories forever. The other dining areas within the restaurant were busy, still the staff did not miss a beat! It looked like every table received the personal and professional service provided to our large party, which says everything you need to know about the great guy owner and this delicious, good-vibe, gem of a restaurant. Also, they chilled the tequila shots without asking, which is a big deal to me ;) Laura & I thank Martin and the Taboosh team for taking care of us on that unforgettable evening. We will be coming back here every single chance we get.More

We were looking for a new place to try and this was our first visit to Tarboosh. Although we messed up our reservation for a different day, we were seated with a smile. We decided to order several dishes to share to get a sense...of the food and were not disappointed. The shrimp was as fresh and wonderfully prepared and flavorful, the tacos were delicious as were the quesadillas! My wife is a mojito expert and typically has a problem being served one as excellent as she did tonight. Excellent service, great food, with a waterside view!More

Was looking forward to dining here for a long time and I went for dinner as soon as I visited Curaçao again. The dessert (Baileys tres leches) was great and very very tasty. The main courses (fish and shrimps) on the other hand were both...sadly not impressive. Also if you have any food allergies, you’ll get a shrug and you’re on your own. Overall, I’m glad we ordered dessert, because everything else was a bit disappointing to be honest.More

The vibe is very relaxed with good music & even better cocktails. I started with...the seviche with mango & the funchi fries both tasted amazing & the fish was fresh. For main I decided to go for the tabooshh platter as it gave me all the local delicacies on one plate, the portion was huge so make sure you come hungry here as you get incredible value for money. I have to give a big shout out to the owner Martin & supervisor Nishaila they made my stay super enjoyable.More
