Since we were in the city for our COVID test we decided to find somewhere to eat and we were hungry because we skipped breakfast due to our early appointment for the test. Since the Renaissance has a free parking deck we thought that would...be the easiest and most convenient place to start. Turning the corner towards the parking deck we saw it a massive cruise ship! We walked through the crowded Rif Fort on our way to the water front. Feeling that confining presence I spotted the Governor de Rouville restaurant in the distance on the water past the Queen Emma bridge, I place we had always wanted to experience. We headed that way. The restaurant was open for lunch so we review the menu both Mrs PSM and selected the crispy red snapper fillet sandwich. The sandwiches were fantastic and very flavorful with capers, onion and lime mayo. The staff was very pleasant and we discussed our upcoming snorkeling location. In addition to this we were also able to charge our phone. PSMMore

Best restaurant in Curaçao! Visited twice: 1 time in the garden, 1 time on the balcony. Very warm welcome and good atmosphere!

Enjoyed a lunch here on the balcony. Nice view of the floating bridge. Everything we ate was very yummy, including the smokehouse ribeye burger, the Cuban banna soup and the steak cheese ciabatta. I also tried their in house beer (140) and that was okay....Fair to good service.More

It’s nice and has been one of outdoor seating. The food itself was definitely nothing special. It wasn’t bad, it was good. Just not great or anything really fancy. Pretty basic, but would still recommend.

Been there for early dinner. Food was great, we seated in the patio, very, very pleasant. Staff was tremendous, accommodated us as we arrived very early for dinner, so they had a spot open until the reserved customer arrived. This gave us 2.5 hours, but...other places may have sent us away. Particularly thankful for the server, Jose!More

I came here for dinner with my husband and had a great experience from start to finish. The service was excellent (especially from our server, Jose) and everything we ordered tasted delicious. There was seating outside and inside, and both areas were beautifully decorated. The...history surrounding the restaurant is really interesting too. I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Willemstad!More

Hot and delicious The beef stew was excellent Trip with chicken and ribs was good The tenderloin was delicious was ask for it medium or medium well...or it comes out RAW in the middle The trio with the fish was terrible and TINY, she’s still starving.
