This was our “fancy” night out and it was average. The food didn’t strike me as great. My pork was overcooked and my daughter’s veggie dish was too salty. The ambiance was nice with music and pretty decor. The owner came up to talk to...us which was very sweet.More

Restaurant's Favorite

My husband and I made a reservation here for our Honeymoon. This was our favorite restaurant on the island. They food was phenomenal along with the staff and atmosphere. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and lobster bisque. The stuffed mushrooms where the best we...both have ever eaten. My husband had the fillet minon, which was the best fillet he has eaten and I had the catch of the day, red snapper. The fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauces were well made for all the dishes. We will definitely be back in the future!More

We have eaten in fine dining restaurants in over 30 countries including multiple visits to some in the US that have been rated best - French Laundry, Per Se, Daniel, Le Cirque, etc... This restaurant is among the best we have eaten in with outstanding...service, innovative and delicious dishes, and an attractive ambiance. The escargot appetizer was very innovative with potato and sauerkraut. One might expect the sauerkraut to overwhelm the dish but it had a very mild additive flavor. My wife had the foie gras pate which was as good as we have eaten in Paris and Venice. We liked it so much that we returned for a 2nd time and were just as thrilled as we were the first time. On our first visit I had the filet of beef and my wife had the Argentine filet. On our second visit we switched and I had the Argentine filet which had a uniquely beefy flavor often missing in US Beef. I wish I knew what seasoning was used although I realize that part of the flavor is that it is grass fed instead of being fed or finished with corn as in the USA. We shared crepes suzette on both nights and it was outstanding. Wines selection was excellent and market priced. The staff was very attentive but not overbearing. The owner stopped by on both nights and we had some interesting conversation. The design is quietly elegant and small but not crowded. We will most likely return to Curacao as the whole vacation was excellent and if we do we will absolutely return to The Wine Cellar. This is a must visit in Curacao if you want to experience an outstanding evening. Thank you to the owner and staff for 2 very enjoyable evenings!More

Fabulous restaurant. Went twice in 1 trip a few months ago. Going back in December and making 3 reservations. Nico, the owner, is a very nice man, who runs his restaurant like a well-oiled machine. Food was all great, the wine is killer and reasonably...priced, and the staff was professional and very helpful. Couldn’t have been happier!More

The food was melt in your mouth delicious- absolutely loved the amuse bouche, the warm bread, and the tender scallops. The pork chop was so delicious we came back twice during our week on the island. The staff were very professional and friendly. The family...takes pride in providing the best experience for you.More

Exceptional restaurant! Food was absolutely delicious! Best restaurant in Curaçao! Owner and son leave no detail to chance. They are attentive, friendly and engaged with diners. Fettuccine with truffle sauce was to die for, as was the snapper and crepes!!! Would recommend to anyone who...likes fine dining. Rivals any restaurant in Manhattan, NYC. Not to be missed❤️More
