CUBA overall was DELIGHTFUL!!! Such and amazing and eye opening experience. We had such a wonderful cultural immersion and I loved getting to meet and get to know the Cuban people. Our group of 12 dined here one evening and it was simply lovely. THe...food was out of this world amazing. The service was top notch and we sat outside in the courtyard enjoying to coll breeze and night air. I had the ROPA VIEJA and it was the best in town.More

Set in a beautiful plaza across from an historic church and just down the street from great galleries, Restaurante 1800 serves excellent meals with efficient service. I had one of the best filet mignons ever while watching the stars come out over Camaguey. Although we...were warned that 1800 was one of the pricier places in town, the bill was about one third what the same meal and drinks would be at home in Florida. Not to be missed in Camaguey.More

We had to get a taxi here from our Casa but it was so worth it. Located on this historic square, it’s so lovely inside too. Staff are so helpful and thoughtful. G&T and Daiquiri to start with - excellent. I’ve never had lobster before...and heard it was a must in Cuba. I wasn’t disappointed. It was huge, fresh and very tasty. Hubby was jealous! Food envy. I relished every mouthful. Came back here for a light lunch the next day. If we had been longer in Camaguey I’d have made it our local! You can see why the reviews are all good!!More

My friends is staying in Casa Particular 1 block from the restaurant. I've eaten here before and enjoyed it. We came for lunch which is the super ala carte menu. The waitress informed us that they were offering their buffet today at lunch. There was...a group of about 30 prebooked. I've had their famous dinner buffet so I was very happy to hear the good news! For 12cuc + drinks & tip It was a steal! Hot table with boneless roast pork in an onion sauce, roast chicken, baked white fish fillets, 2 pastas, rice, yuca & steamed squash & a soup. Cold buffet with about 25 items highlighted by lobster tails, tuna salad, marinated eggplant & tons of veggies! Desert table with a selection of small cakes, eclairs & ice cream!! Everything was spot-on! 3 cheers for the best buffet in central Cuba.More

We enjoyed eating an evening meal outside in the front plaza. Service was good and the food had more choices than the usual piece of meat and rice and beans.

Lots of food options. Zenaida was one of the best servers we had during our experiences at many restaurants/ paladars throughout CUBA.

Very nice setting although it is not in the same league as the nearby Casa Italia. 1800 doesn't apparently have a wood fired oven. The pizza is good but a little more spongy than the pizza from wood fired ovens.

Our group were able to dine outside and we loved that. Service was a bit slow, but it was very busy and we really were not in a big rush. Food was delicious, a mayo and cracker appetizer was a good beginner. Very delicious shrimp...cocktail, garlic shrimp, filet mignon, and of course congri. ,More

This was truly one of the better restaurants we encountered during our round trip on Cuba, they had much more to offer than the regular, Lobster, Shrimps, Chicken and Pork. Nice wine list in a pleasant atmosphere and last but not least excellent service by...our waiter!More

Food and service were great. Waiter spoke English and was very helpful in helping us make our selections. Prices were also very reasonable. Drinks were also very well priced and were very well sized. Had Filet Mignon was delicious.
