We enjoyed our dinner there two times. The food was enjoyable and the service very professional and polite. A bit expensive for Cuba Highly recommended between the restaurants in Havana.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on avid del Puerto whilst walking around one lunchtime. There were coach groups there at the time, so I figured it was probably OK. We had a lovely lunch and the food was great. We'd had so many poor meals whilst in Havana, some at top London prices, but this was a really welcome find.... More

I had a lovely seafood meal here though at first I thought the smell of diesel from passing cars was a bit much. (I was sitting at an outdoor table) The food was good, service was pleasant and it was a lovely evening. People warn you that food isn't great in Cuba but overall it was better than we expected

Having lunch with friends (4 people) after a day-off from "XIII Congreso Panamericano de Otorrinolaringología y Cirugía de Cabeza y Cuello (13 a 16 Junho 2016)". Three of us ate tuna and after 1 hour we caught food poisoning. One of our colleagues threw up all over lunch in the restaurant toilet, and 2 of us were with red rash... More

After a couple hours of shopping at the Arts & Crafts Center. Our tour guide took us to this nearby restaurant for our farewell lunch. 11 of us ordered 2 Paella, 2 Chateaubriand and some seafood dishes and oxtail. It takes a little time for the Chateaubriand and it comes out to be very tender and juicy, The waitperson also... More

Our group's farewell dinner was held here. We sat outside and it was very pleasant, even though it was on a main street. It was close to the Malecon and the fort and we could hear the cannon firing. The staff was attentive and cooperative. Our food was pre-ordered by our guide and dish after dish kept appearing. The shrimp... More

This restaurant is close to the centre of the old town but overlooking the habour. The staff were prompt and friendly. The waiter told use the chef's suggestion for the day was "soggy rice with lobster" for two. We agreed. The dish came with a lot of rice and a reasonable amount of lobster, though it was overcooked. Acceptable but... More

My husband and I booked a table here because of the review in Lonely Planet and it was probably one of the best meals we had in Cuba. The restaurant isn't in the greatest location, as whilst it is across the road from the marina, it is a busy main road. None the less it is easy walking distance from... More

Returning to Cuba for the first time in over 50 years, I was very much looking forward to eating the amazing food that I grew up with and that my mother cooked. Unfortunately, every meal disappointed, except for the meal I shared with family at El Templete! The paella was simply the best I've ever had. And sitting outside, along... More

Immaculate cooking of fresh fish could be a good definition for this place. Service could be a bit more friendly but it is efficient. Good place for outdoor eating. Expensive but worth every CUC.
