I visited Cuba in November 2019. It was my wedding anniversary and I always do something special with my husband. They recommended "Los Naranjos", at first the location seemed perfect to me, which I never thought was a place as special as it was. The...reception of the staff and the atmosphere of the place immediately captivated us. We sat on the terrace, although the interior was very cozy too. The food was delicious, well served and presented. I would say for sure that the best dinner they have served us in Cuba. It was a combination of excellent quality, good service and creativity in presentation. They made my night special and memorable. We ate here on our first night in Havana, since it was just round the corner from the house we were renting (Paseo 409). Los Naranjos was certainly the poshest place we ate at during a two week stay in Cuba, with steak tournedos on...the menu (which was on a blackboard, so it may change daily – and if non-Spanish speaking - you have to listen very carefully to the translations so you can remember everything before choosing) However, it wasn’t particularly pretentious, and the staff were very welcoming. It was my wife’s birthday. Our hotel suggested we go there and it was just wonderful. The starter and main were very nice the staff were excellent, explaining what was on the menu. We had potatoes because we had been having rice for the last...14 days on a great SAGA tour of Cuba . After the meal we had a look at the back of house which is still some ones home, and it was lovely, so many large properties are in wreck and ruin, but that’s the way life is in Cuba. Los Naranjos was a fantastic restaurant. Best in Havana by far. I went with my partner in February 2020 and had an amazing dinner. Very friendly staff, very varied menu with a lot of choice including local dishes. Can’t go wrong eating here.

My Partner and I highly recommend this hidden gem of W restaurant. The staff were courteous and very knowledgable about the menu. The food was delicious! With a great selection of Cuban dishes. Would highly recommend

We were staying in old Havannah and chose this because of the photos and the good reviews. It was about a 20 minute taxi ride to get there which is not a great experience in the poorly maintained cars on the island. It is in...a half residential area and the main rooms on the balcony look at a hospital entrance. The building is beautiful but nothing like the photos on their website. The staff were very nice but couple of them were embarrassed and agreed when we pointed out how bad some of the food presented to us was. It is quite expensive too so was a disappointment in this instance.More

Having spent 7 days in the Vedado area we had experienced many menus where ingredients had proved too scarce to actually provide on the day. Los Naranjos was extremely creative in their dishes and the choice on the menu was impressive. Our meals were well...presented and delicious. The staff are very young and charming, perhaps a little too ‘ trained’ and could relax more. I only had to take the last sip of my drink and they appeared instantly to ‘top’ it up. But hey, how often can a diner say that service was “ too good” !More

With the most impeccable service this restaurant delivers a great assortment of food. It's quiet though there was several large groups at the moment but still it was nice for my husband and I. It's a little pricey but the comfort and quality of the...food outweigh that drawback.More

In a week that included 10 visits to what are considered Havana's best "paladars," Los Naranjos did not disappoint. The environment was beautiful and we were allowed to explore parts of the old estate home. The waitstaff was very attentive and the food presentation was...first-rate, and quite tasty too. it was a fine dining experience, to be sure. While it seems silly to comment, bathrooms we visited during the week ranged from OK to bad, even in some good restaurants. All of the women commented on Los Naranjos bathroom as the very best in Havana! True, there was gentle incense burning and plentiful lovely scented liquid soaps and lotions. The toilet paper was soft and plentifully showcased in a basket. Perhaps most surprising of all, is that warm individual towels were rolled for each guest's use. Splendid. Thank you, Los Naranjos--best of show! Btw they had the widest and best choice of wines that we saw during our visit.More

The atmosphere is lovely, the service is top notch, the building is gorgeous. The food is... disappointing. The pulpo was gooey, the paella was a wet and salty blob, the ceviche didn’t have enough lime in it, ... just so disappointing because this restaurant has...the highest score on TripAdvisor for Havana and the atmosphere is just so nice. The atmosphere truly reminded me of the Key West.More
