One off place to go

Like other reviews this place is very touristy. They have the Daquiri's lined up on the counter. We went in on a Saturday night the music was good. But it was very busy had the one drink and left

The package tour took us there for dinner. The bar was packed with tourist trying to take a picture with the Hemmingway statue which was placed in the corner of the bar. Allegedly this was the place where Daiquiri was created and everyone has one. I found the Mojito better. The restaurant unlike the bar was quite empty and as... More

Floridita is very crowded with turists, who all want to say, they have been there and said hallo to Hemmingway. The most expensive drinks in all Cuba.

Not the experience we were hoping for . the small Cuban salsa band were brilliant but as a place to a daiquiri it was pretty uninspiring. It was more like sitting in a works canteen - plus the drinks are 6CUC each rather an than 2.50CUV everywhere else. My advice is not to bother - there are lots more fun... More

Came for a famous Daquiri. Had it and then left. To crowded. Bus after bus stopped outside and more tourists poured in. Maybe a must see and visit but nothing more. Had better drinks in Havanna at a much cheaper price at other bars.

The restaurant was atmospheric with smartly dressed waiters busying about. The Daiquiri was very good, the food was ordinary. I had a plate of appetisers, a tasty but glutinous chicken soup, chicken with mushroom sauce an ice cream and a coffee. If you go here stick to the bar area and have some Daiquiris and forget the food which I... More

Tourists flock here to relive Hemingway days. Have a drink, once you can get service, look at the memorabilia and then check out better places for food and drink.

It was very charming although crowded. Loved seeing the statue of Ernest Hemingway in his old haunt. Everything about this was charming. Even the doorman was so sweet to warn us of pickpockets as we were leaving. It is not in the greatest location now that the city is quite frankly crumbling down around everyone. Once inside though and it... More

NOT bad considering the hour of night we showed up... Almost 10 pm. Staff was settling down to close so the service wasn't perfect. More variety of entrees than most restaurants in Habana.
